Ooc: New Halfling Looking For Cousin/uncle/family

Hi
So i was on the server a loooong time ago and im looking at coming back and would like to play a halfling, ive also got my friend and my gf interested in joining the server and roleplaying as halflings as well. My friend is going to be my sister and we are looking at being youngish adults around 35-45 and my gf will be playing my partner/lady halfling im courting, of a similar age.

Pretty much what im looking for is someone we would know/be related to in the Shire for us to move there and maybe some help coming up with a little backstory on where we were that we are only now moving in. (like how long ago was lenfarthing, could we have been children there that then moved to a different place when the rest of you went to create the shire?) The other two are new to the server so im just hoping to have a coherent backstory for them to put in their whitelist applications.

But yeah keen to get back on the server and immersed in some chilled out and fun roleplay.

Thanks

Well you could be apart if the mugwort family. My character, Fredegar mugwort, is currently on vacation and you could feel free to occupy his burrow. It's easy to spot on took lane. The backstory will go as such...

Within the ruins of Lenfarthing, the mugwort a rushed out with the survivors, all wanting to escape the bloodshed and massacre. They traveled with the few remaining halfings, before they were seperated, lost within the heard of halflings. Fredegar, one of the mugorts that came to the shire, was indeed missing his lost relatives. He searched far and wide for many a year before locating them. Leaving a letter on the door, he set off, hoping that the new mugworts will prosper....

*The letter is written as so* "dear fellow mugworts, I have currently decided to leave for a much needed vacation. I need someone to look after the burrow and to prosper as a family. Onto you, I leave my burrow and may it keep you comfortable and warm. You may change it anyway you choose, for it is yours now until I return back to the land of the shire"

Signed

Fredegar Mugwort.

((Ps the blocking to the kitchen you can take off if you deside to be a mugwort. Pm me if you accept))

You can just about join whatever family you want in the Halflings, I don't think anyone would mind having another family member kicking about (though there are like seventy Willowswamps and Willowbottoms). I think Lenfarthing burning down was about 6 or 7 years ago, buuuuut we don't care too much about continuity so you could probably get away with any backstory.

Well we might go something other than willows then :P

Probably going to take up the offer to be Mugworts and use Fred's burrow for now. just gotta here back from the others and then get them to apply for the server.

What times is the shire most active? (please give me a timezone refference as well so i can convert it, seeing as i am +10 and the other two are -5 and +3 :/ )

The shire's usually most active on the weekends, and most of us go on EST. On weekdays, it's usually around 7 PM or so that halfling people are most active, though not nearly as much as on weekends.
