~=A Victory And An Omen=~

For many years the minions and servants of Ordnarch plagued the southern lands, even after his defeat. It seemed as though they were driven, powered on by some ulterior motive. With their supposed master defeated, why did they continue on? Where did they still receive their power from?

The dwarves of Urguan toiled long and hard to unearth these secrets, fighting back frenzied beasts and crazed cultists alike. It was in these investigations that they found a secret, a truth, that they dared hope not be real. These demented, twisted dwarves where followers of a true evil, a darker evil, Khorvad. They sought tirelessly to resurrect their ancient master, scouring the lands for artifacts of immense power, all the while combating their ages old foe of the Grand Kingdom.

Thankfully the cultists were weak, pushed to the brink of annihilation. All the dwarves need do, is take the final blow…. and take it they did. A brave dwarf intercepted and ended the life of one such cultist, taking the contents of his pouch. Inside lay a map, detailing the location of the remaining cultists lair, and a small ring.

The legion was quickly assembled and mobilized to combat the remaining threat immediately. Upon arriving at the small island the dwarves easily found the hidden entrance, using the peculiar ring from before as a key for entrance. Once inside the battle ensued, cultists casting magic and summoning terrible beast and dwarves fighting valiantly, felling all before them with the might of dwarven steel. Cutting down the last cultist and breaking into the depths of the lair they found the source of their power, an unholy crystal with immense magical power. The dwarves took no time at all in destroying the unholy thing, putting and end to the cultists once and for all.

The dwarves let out a hearty cheer, they had won the battle. But it was not over. In the final room, the study of the cultist leader whom was cut down during the battle, lay a note. All documents in the room where hastily destroyed, yet one remained intact, untouched, by pure chance.

The hour grows ever later. Our master’s most feared servant has been defeated and Wyrvun has been set free once again. Though we are at a grave loss indeed, do not grow complacent my friend. It will not be long now before we will hold the power to restore Thorgarn’s legacy. Ondnarch was merely a pawn - A distraction along the path towards our final victory. Yet when we once again grasp hold of Urguan, all of Anthos shall bow before our might. Not even the Grand King of Urguan himself shall stand before us. Until that time comes however, we must wait and hide among the shadows. I have faith in you to follow my orders through. Do not disappoint me.

May Khorvad guide you.

*High Oracle Trundag lies dead on the ground, being the last alive to defend the holy lair. He had failed, but he had served his master well. His purpose had been served, this was but the beginning...*

((Hope you all had fun with the dwarven antag and cultists! It was fun playing the cult leader, and although I missed the last few events, I hope you all had a blast! :) ))
