Deece 9 Share Posted March 24, 2014 This may be an obvious question but I'm still fairly new with LoTC so please bear with me. Im thinking of changing tack with my character from a cliché fighter guy to more of a researcher of animals (or something else I'm not entirely sure yet). My question is does one have to go through the forums to create all lore? or are we able to create small lore up as we roleplay? im not talking about making new OP creatures but like, i dunno, a new breed of fox to find or something. Thanks in advance!!
Jistuma 1996 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Sure, there is no need to write lore and get it accepted for things like that. Follow roleplay and discover as you go. Enjoy the roleplay that you're having, but if you think a type of animal is too different and you believe it should need lore, you can simply send one of the LM's a small description of it to see if it's alright. Any animal that exists IRL is alright, any changes to them to fit into fantasy setting is alright, even some minor magical beings are fine (if not exagerated), and you're that free to roleplay. Hope this answers the question.
Orn_Eldurbeard 31 Share Posted March 24, 2014 As you go on through your characters life he might begin to like diffrent things, At the start you may want to be a Fighter but as you go along You may find yourself being very happy being a farmer
