Buh-Bye For A Bit Lotc

Hello LoTC players. I've been fading between inactivity and no gameplay at all lately, and I've decided to leave for a while. 

 

If you've ever met me, you know I play WAY too many characters. I keep getting inspired by interwebz scrolling, and have ended up with 25+ characters, that are completely inactive. This is but one of the things that have inspired me to leave, but a big part of it. I've had to make a completely new Skype account now for personal use, seeing I was being spammed with, "When are you playing [insert name here]?" or "Can you please play [insert name here]" and "Do you even OOCly care about me?". Anyhow, the spam got ridiculous. 

 

Now, to the real reason I'm leaving. 

I played this server 24/7 over a three month period (summer break). When I tried to adapt to the school schedule in September, I found myself unable to peel myself away from my computer to try and do some work. My grades, as a result of this have plummeted to a terrible level. I personally have to take a Math class over the summer unless I ace nearly every test in my class. And personally, I do NOT want to spend my summer in a classroom. I need to now spend most of my time studying diligently, and I haven't had much time for LoTC.

 

I've also gotten to a bad place emotionally. My main character's emotions (Eriic Koortova) has actually been violently influencing my life OOC. Eriic was created to fill a void in my life, as I didn't really have one at the time of his creation. But I now come to terms with how LoTC has been negatively affecting my behaviors, and that I have a serious obsession.

 

However, I would like to say how much LoTC has helped me. My English grades have always been high, but I now have a clean, 100% in that class due to the community here. When I first applied, I was an iffy writer, who didn't put much detail into things. I have loved this community so much, and a huge part of me is screaming not to leave. However, I know it's for the better, and it's time. Although I've only been playing for a year, it has felt so much longer.

 

 

And that is for a reason.

 

I am going to openly admit to the community, that I was most certainly banned back in Aegis, under the account name blacksmith6. The penalty was fly hacking, and I never got an appeal. Two year after that ban, I was unbanned on accident in Anthos. I registered again as TechnoMack, well, because I wanted a clean reputation again. Of course, this was the wrong thing to do. I expect to be punished accordingly. Whether that be a forum ban, user ban, etc.

 

 

Either way, Goodbye LoTC.
