House Amador reemerged into Oren politics and Nobility after a long absence in the months preceding the battle of Thoringrad. At this time the aging head of house Amador Tristan brought his family before King Heinrik Carrion who proceeded to allow this family to return to the unlanded section of nobility. Since then the  Amadors grew a small fortune in six months donating much of their wealth to the betterment of House Carrion and their new patron Farley II of House Stafyr. After this the Amadors became renowned for their part in helping Stafyr bombard and destroy the fort of Thoringrad. Soon afterwards Tristan was granted the Barony of Shadowcoast situated on the coastline between Schattenburg and the land of Furnestock. There they remain as Lumber suppliers to Oren and loyal Banners to Stafyr with their new lord James Amador son of Tristan. House Amador was an active fighter for House Stafyr forces  in the Zionist war and with the death of Heinrik followed Farley II Stafyr in bending the knee to the new Emperor.   Now house Stafyr keep to the shadows keeping their true numbers and intentions hidden mainly being an unseen force behind Stafyr.   

House Culture

The motto of house Amador in “From Sea to Sea” this came about in the Holy lands which the Renatus based family settled and made a island sea based culture there. The House started off with a small fort in the south and within a year under their greatest leader Jack Amador I had conquered the entire island under Rentatus. They thrived getting food from the sea  and using lumber which they cut to create the Grand Navy of Oren, the house is home to renowned vintners, Brewers, Carpenters and Sailors. Because of this men of Amador are strong and are masters of Axe combat, there are no farmers and the great sword wielders died with Jack Amador. The current house is more harsh side of Stafyr, believing in Loyalty, Strength, Honor,Justice and that a strong House must be harsh with the law(Brutal in James’ case). The House is Loyal to Stafyr and was to Heinrik Carrion as well as Neutral with all others. Their belief in honor has manifested in recent years and have removed the heads of opponents and criminals with their ancestral axe Waters Edge. This War Axe was created by Jack Amador as a Symbol of his Unification of the Holy lands and transformation of Vendare into Crestfall. The axe was created with ore found on the glowing meteorites of the Holy lands and although similar to iron gave a strange glow and was lighter but Stronger than normal Iron, this or the smith who made it was a true master of forging.

Most of the houses military is spread across the land most being hired help/mercenaries for other people, although they hold little allegiance to others they do hold an oath to return when James Amador calls.

House History  

Amador’s Early history although mostly unknown were humble farmers who moved up the hierarchy. As time went on into Asulon their family head Zafus Amador looked east past Furnestock,Salvus and Renatus towards the vast expansive island to the east. Using what supplies they had the family moved to the island and set up the town of Vendare.

Vendare was a small fort town typical of Asulon but it was credited to it’s deep mines and large population. With this they made some great achievements making an alliance with the other group on the island and taking years to construct a great bridge to the island from the Capital.

It is around this time the Family overseer and elder Jiraiya Amador returned to the family overseeing the transition between Zafus to his son Jack. From this the Amador line prospered their Family seemed to be at its strongest. Jack Amador from a young age had shown potential and with Jiraiya his cousin from the pure elven side of the family helping organise meets between Jack and the Renatus kings.

In promoted relations and multiple quests taken Jack Amador became quite renown in Asulon for slaying bandits and holding great feasts. This eventually prompted the Tarus King to give more land. With this amador made a city almost four times the size of their old town bringing in many new settlers and trade.

With the Arrival of Godfrey I of house Horen Amador bent the knee and although the process is jumbled and a blur in the years where so much happened, Amador was one of the houses to fight against Slavus and then bend the knee to the new king and then a short time after this united the Holy lands in Godfreys name. With the annexation of the Holy lands the islands natural sea defence prompted no need for walls and the expanding of the land under Amador. With this expansion came the destruction of the bridge to the island which till now was a strategic weakness.

With the bridge gone the Amadors made travel to the holy lands possible through boat travel from the capital of Cloud Temple and then proceeded to create the new Holy Oren Empire’s entire navy. If previous actions and the fact the newly expanded Crestfall was a trade hub the creation of the Navy made the house one of the most prominent in central Orenian politics(Although they tried to keep a loyal quiet life).

The new lands of creastfall were rich in resources with mines in the North, and orchards, vineyards and lumber camps covering much of the south by the port, manor and guilds. Many current day Houses, guilds and orders saw their origin in Crestfall under  Amador and owe their beginnings to the kindness and wealth of Amador.

Amador like many other houses lost their strength in the move to Anthos and so with the death of Jack Amador and the weakening of the house with one sole heir Seth Amador and no levy left to build a new foundation the house moved to the wilds to a bitter life for Seth Amador. Then when Seth had long passed and his sons Tristan and Jack II were in charge of the family lumber company something changed. The brothers had both married and both had young teenage sons of their own (James and Arthur) but longed for the prestige of old and the counties and duchies they grew up hearing about. The amadors at this time had four workers for them who were longtime servants of the family who returned out of loyalty.

This was the right time with the entire family and force they left the wilds and arrived in Schattenburg first. There they met Farley II Stafyr who wished them luck as they picked up former servants. With a small force of around ten they marched to the palace in a hope that they could appeal the removal of them from Nobility under Seth who was purged for being in charge of a too inactive house. Upon their arrival in the throne room many were shocked by the number who had arrived and other High nobility saw it as a chance to increase their own banner force for the upcoming battle to take the fort of Thoringrad they were planning. None the less King Heinrik put the decision to his privy council and then Farley II Stafyr offered to have them Vassal under him which the king accepted.

Through multiple generous donations to the war effort by house Amador in the form of supply’s directly to the Crown and to house Stafyr the Amadors got the Barony of Shadowcoast and Tristan Amador became a Baron in Oren. At the battle of Thoringrad Arthur Amador received  much praise and attention by holy orders for his sword skill and by choice of Tristan and Jack made to join the Holy Order of Saint Lucian. As well as this Amador made up much of Stafyr forces and because of this bolster to Stafyr forces the siege weapons ran with increased efficiency and aided Oren forces in the advancement into the fort.       

With the abdication of Tristan the young James Amador took the title and lands of his father and finished the manor and lumbermill on the Shadowcoast establishing Amador in the economy once again. Although the Shadowcoast is now gone Amador remain loyal vassals of Stafyr in Huntshill and James and his men were seen often in Fringe conflicts often acting as the third fist of Stafyr. But as of late the House has gone quiet waiting for another war to prove its strength in.
