A New Quill To Be Chosen

[Dreek 1633]

A small, hunched over figure is seen slowly plodding out of the Rememberancer hall, and slowly begins to make his way over to the King's council chamber. As he walks, he seems to stay in the shadows and avoids the harsh light. He then begins to step onto the bridge connecting the palace to the main land, quickly the guards part respectively and nod in acknowledgment as their revered Remembrancer of History passes them.

 

Slowly, the hunchback remembrancer enters the hall and looks up at Grand King Hogarth, as well as his Lords. Soon, his old and dry mouth begins to whisper out words, "'Ers ov da cooncil, ah com tu ye en meh decrepit stayte an breng da news dat dere es need ov ah nuu remembranceh ov 'istoreh. Ah 'ave been studyin da historeh fer yeers, an unfortunately dinae du all dat ah 'oped tu du. Fer dat reesun, ah wish tu 'elp en da chuusin ov a nuu fayce tu wroite oor historeh. Ah 'ope tu pass uff meh plans tu 'im. Ah 'ope ye will allow meh tu fulfill wut ah believ tu beh meh last wish en dis wurld, an 'elp ye tu chuuse meh replaycement." As he finishes his speech, the hunchback Dwarf lowers himself to the floor gingerly and sits, letting out a pained sigh as he awaits the Lord's and their King's response.
