PtahWithin 1320 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Walking on the main road of the Fringe, you spot a large poster: BRONZE BECKONS, MALI'AME Our kind is poised to begin a long and arduous course into an era of stability and progress: residence near the Mali'aheral city of Tahn'siol has been negotiated. All that remains now is for the Second Concordat to be signed and for us to begin our emigration. But ours is a scattered and disjointed people, seeking sanctuary in foreign nations or simply secluding themselves from their own kind, resigning themselves to the wilderness. Many believe it hopeless to unite the Mali'ame once more. Surely it would lead to be same thrur'sae, the same Turmoil as was seen in Malinor's collapse? Not so. The incompetence ands cruelty of a few caused all of Malinor to suffer and eventually dissipate. Almost none within Malinor understood the true nature and peril of Elven immortality. The consistent and unending ebb and flow of the years has lead many Mali into depression, madness, and depravity. Every day we are confronted with the demons of the mind and of the emotion: fear, wrath, greed, apathy, lust. Freedom of thought is one thing: Unrestrained freedom is another. But the Bronze Law, Elberun'tir, gives our people the means through which we may avoid the diseases of the mind and the dismal condition of Malinor. Restraint shall counter Turmoil, Restraint shall make one the master of their own mind and body without the turbulent influences of destructive fervor. Scattered Mali'ame: we ask you to sail against the tide of years and make for Tahn'siol. We ask you to become tutored in the intricacies of the Bronze Law and learn the supremacy of your own faculties and form. Mali'ame, we ask you to become bronze. We ask you to become Mali'ame ito Elberun'tir. ----------------------- If you shall answer us, leave your name upon the end of this flier, and we shall arrange to meet with you outside the walls of Tahn'siol ((if you also provide your skype name, you can be added to the skype group after the meeting takes place)). ((I and the rest of the participants of this new Wood Elven culture have been working in-game to set this off. However, we also would like to extend to non-elven players the opportunity to create a new elven character of this culture. For that reason, this thread has been made to garner interest in the concept for those who are unlikely to hear of it in-game. What is it in a nutshell? Think Star-Trek Vulcans, Greek and Hellenic cultures, and the more traditional Wood Elves - all woven together to create something very unlike anything which has been seen before in elven roleplay. It is talked about further in this thread. Further inspiration from what exactly it entails can be found in this video. If you are interested, yet are hesitant and believe that there is no point in getting started until 4.0, I would ask you to reconsider. Why not get started now?))
Stag 3234 Share Posted April 27, 2014 My name is Hera and long have I travelled in search of something. That something could not be found because it did not exist. Now something exists for me to find. ... Hope ... Let us arrange to meet in front of the home of our kin.
Ford 1996 Share Posted April 27, 2014 This is strange. It has been some time since the Mali'ame as a whole have done something such as... this. It pleases me somewhat to see that they're beginning to realize what really matters. In such desperate times, unity is key.

ToenailTickler 290 Share Posted April 29, 2014 News of a new elven settlement reaches far and wide. The tales of a new land, a new power... has reached a cult of the spirit Tagnir, orcish spirit of death. The Cult of Tagnir, the youngest cult so far, is need of a great number of sacrifices. A Smile creeps across the head cultist's maw. Finally a settlement, new without a trained guard force, shall make as a perfect base of sacrifices and dark acts in the name of Tagnir. Supremacy 3361 Share Posted April 29, 2014 News also travels about how curiously it seems the settlement is located within Haelun'or. It seems as if anyone who attacked the Bronze elves would also be attacking Haelun'or. Perhaps attacking the settlement would incite the ire of Haelun'or. Perhaps making such threats on the forums is pointless...
