Heyo - I've returned 'round a week ago from HL2RP on Garry's Mod. I've managed to find these videos made by an Australian player on the server I used to play. Check his shiz out, haha.

Looked up a few videos for it. Seems fun, especially the ever present threat of Combine raids.

There are some major differences from that server and Lord of the Craft other than the context.

 

On Lord of the Craft, should you die, you have the choice whether to permakill or simply be resurrected by the mysterious monks, in Half-Life: Two Roleplay, should it be a valid death you'll be perma-killed. Quite frustrating after you spend six months on a character, and they die for a simple reason such as.. being shot by crossfire or ricochet from a bullet.

 

 On the community I played, I donated $600 in less than a year, ended up being treated like dung. I was so naive and stupid, thinking I'd stay there permanently. Don't leave us for HL2:RP, if you do try it out, it's not worth it in the long run.

I remember those days, its tough to advance but fun, being a squad lead in that I raided so many people, I remember killing 20 guys who were just locked in a room for fun. It's not worth it though because it takes A LOT of time.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how many people from this server having originated from Half-Life: Two Roleplay.You became a Squad Leader? Nice. I became the City Administrator of several Cities, I loved it but I was removed for being inactive due to losing my mojo for roleplay.
