Princess Nina Tundrak writes several notes, ordering her subjects to post them all over the dwarven settlments, Alras included.

People of Dwarves, and citizens of Alras.

 

My name is Nina Tundrak, Princess of Fenn and first daughter of Spartacus Tundrak. 

 

Recent events have driven me to write this to you as I, Princess of the Mali'fenn wish to know what exactly transpired. It has come to my attention that the men representing my people have been found attacking a tavern in the city of Alras. I request all citizens or witnesses to step forward and send me a bird detailing what happened. I wish to know their names if you know any.  How many Mali'fenn were involved in the attack? Do you know of their motives, and if so, what? Was Spartacus Tundrak involved in these attacks?

 

And one last question, and that determines whether or not I can help you.

 

Did anyone from Alras in any way, provoke the Mali'fenn to attack them? If so, what did they do?

 

 

If my father was really involved in the attacks, then please accept my apologies for his actions. I send my condolences to those who were injured or killed in the attack. Hurting innocent people is wrong, and my father's actions reflect badly on the people of Fenn. I wish to solve this conflict with words, and without resorting to violence. I will speak to my father in hopes to get some answers.  Spartacus Tundrak has some explaining to do.

Dizzy scratches his beard looking at the letter.

*A falcon swoops down near the Princess with a long rolled up note. Opening it would reveal polished and official looking handwriting.*

 

"Hello, Princess Nina, I hope you are having a nice day.

 

I am an individual of specific standing that would provide me with accurate reports of what happened in Alras, not to mention I was there. From what I have been told Tundrak came into the tavern and immediately walked over to a table, and put something under it. As he left there was a explosion and fire ensued, but the quick response of the staff of the tavern luckily resulted in minimal damage, which of course was not assessed until later. From our point of view, a man had just set some sort of explosive device off in a public place where large masses of people normally would gather. So we chased him down and attempted to arrest him, which he resisted. We asked of him a thousand minas fine for the damage and trouble he had caused everyone, in which he refused. At that point he began being very disrespectful to the guards, well, even before that, as we attempted to arrest him which he of course resisted. We ended up turning to brute force and we ended up getting him to submit. At that point we were told he was to be sentenced to death for all the trouble he had caused along with the complete lack of compliance to pay the fine, disrespecting the authority of the guards, and many other things I will list later. I will not go into detail in respect of you, but he was immediately executed after the order was given. We were simply doing our jobs and having him pay for what he had done.

 

The list of crimes committed include but are not limited to:

Disturbing the peace

Extreme endangerment to the citizens of Alras

Arson

Malicious and deliberate destruction of property

Fleeing the scene

Evading arrest (Repeatedly)

Resisting arrest (Repeatedly)

Assaulting a guard

Refusal to pay fine

Disrespecting the guard and it's authority

 

I would like to end this with again saying that we asked him for a fine, in which he refused to pay. Now that justice has been served, he is trying to start a war with us for rightfully executing him. You wished to know what happened, and now you do.

Princess Nina folds up the note recieved. Closing her eyes as she tries to contain her rage. Not even mourning for her father's death because after all, she saw him yesterday. All she could think of saying is "Why?"

 

 

Princess Nina opens the note one last time, rereading it. She grabs a quill and parchment,  scribbling a reply. Sending the bird back to the recipient.

 

To the official it may concern.

 

I want a full list of the crimes he committed in addition to the offenses you sent me. If he has been a repeat offender, I wish to know. It's important that I know of any motives, or if his actions were provoked. I will speak to my father regarding his conduct within your city to get his side. I deeply sorry for any trouble, or harm he has caused your people. I promise you that I will get to the bottom of this and hopefully find a resolution to this mess.
