Within Ivybend, the sounds of joy travel for miles. The children run around as the others sit by the tables to drink. This, as many would see, is a normal day for the halflings. full of peace and serenity. not a single sad face could be seen.

Suddenly, a hog begins walking through the entrance of Ivybend. With it, a casket trailing behind. many Halflings and hobbits gasp at the sight. Upon it, a will that reads....

"Dear all halflings and hobbits, friends and family,

By the time you read this, I will be dead. i am so very sorry for my long absence, I hoped to one day return to my home. I met many upon my journey, and acquired a faithful hog named napoleon. I leave him to the halflings, hoping that one day, a relative of mine shall claim him as their own. Now, with all my trinkets and items that i have collected, i leave to Fumble, hoping he can help my memory grow on in stories. I hope that he shall use them wisely and in memory of myself.

Fumble, if there is ANYTHING that you can do, do it. Dont let others stop you achieve your greatest inventions.

Sincerely,

Fredegar Mugwort,

Storage manager, Friend, and halfling"
