Alright Folks, I Need Some Alchemy Ideas.

I'm currently looking for new ideas on how to expand on my character's alchemy ability. I'm a creative person and I have nothing else to do with my time, so I have no issues writing lore and such. I'm also looking to create an alchemy presence with my character, or if it comes to a point, Dark Alchemy. My character is along the lines of a Solitary Alchemist, so I plan to in the future write some RP posts about her experiments.

Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that Chimeras can no longer be made.

I have come up with a list of ideas myself.

  • Recreating RL drugs, such as PCP, Steroids, and LSDs.
  • Recreating Mary Shelly's Frankenstein creature by mimicking the same methods Dr. Frankenstein used to create his creature.

If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I'd like to make alchemy enjoyable for both myself and others and try to make it fun for new alchemists to get into.

What should I delve into? New potions, creatures? etc?

What sort of potion, elixir or oil I should make? What are your ideas for new potions?

I know nearly nothing of alchemy, so forgive me if I am wrong...but, what about a potion that turns people into frogs when they drink it? Or...perhaps creating a device that creates a reading/sound when something/someone magical/able to use magic is near? Or...a potion that prevents mages from casting magic (I.e. Silence potion) or a potion that, when thrown on someone, /never/ comes off. Like grease/oil but really annoying.
