Caterina Horen awaits her turn to speak before the Emperor, her mind set to her task. As her name is called she comes before the Emperor and curtsies deeply, keeping her eyes averted to the ground. 

 

"Your Imperial Majesty" She begins, her head slightly turned down. "I have come forward to deliver the terms from the Prince of the snow elves, I am aware that I am a woman and can not speak for the men of Oren in such things but when the princess was taken and the men of oren stood by... I could not. She is pregnant with an heir and beloved by Prince Robert, I could not understand how they would abandon her."

 

Shakes her head as she gets off topic. "I, alone, went to try and free my beloved cousin and future queen... My original intent was to take her place and hopefully save her and her unborn child. The elves only agreed to release her on the condition that I bring you their terms, I feel that this act will be seen as foolish but I beg you to see it for what it truly was... a show of peace, They could have ended her life and continued this war... but they hope for peace. We have destroyed their home, killed their women and children... we have shown utter dominance. I beg you to end this war... They also request that you accept them as a Nation. I would also like to note that the lucienists were on their way to save her as well and served as our escorts home. It is not my place to advise you so with the fulfilment of my oath to them I leave this situation in you more than capable hands."

 

She curtsies deeply again and awaits her dismissal from the proceedings of court.
