A Clan War On The Horizon

Moonlight floods down from the canopy of a dense jungle upon a would-be shaman. He lays flat on his stomach, his body clutching tightly to a thick branch of a tree on the edge of the massive jungle. Squinting, he peers at a camp just outside of the jungle and far below the treetops. A fire roars in the camp, many large Orcs sit around it. In the daylight, many of them would have been cutting trees down and building up the defenses of their camp; walls, towers, spikes, and of course huts. However, the night had brought the Orcs into the safety of the walls.

The shaman watching from the treetops, Grothmar, watched the camp far below with vigilant eyes and a heavy heart. Thoughts began to pour through his head, memories of his dealings with these Orcs...

-lll-

It had not been long since he had met Zruk, Grukar, Olrug, and Glumpuz, all of which were Orcs that lived within the Warcamp near the Temple-lands. Together, they and Grothmar had traveled to the old ruins of Krughanistan - now called the Maturzgoi, or Dead City - Grothmar in search of wisdom from the Spirits, and the other Orcs in search of land to call their own. A curse had riddled the Maturzgoi, anger from the storm spirit Neizdark. Storms ravaged the city nightly, and they would not leave... Together, Grothmar, Zruk, Grukar, Olrug, and Glumpuz performed the hunt and sacrifice of a mighty war boar to appease Neizdark, in which they succeeded. The storms passed.

Zruk, knowing that the land was now free from the curse, decided that it would be perfect now to build a camp for his brethren. He and his followers created a new clan, the Balrugs, and pitched several tents within the city of Maturzgoi... However, it did not last long.

After some heavy altercations between a few of the traditional Warcamp Orcs and the Balrugs, an angry Thore'Gorkil marched to the Maturzgoi and beheaded one of the Balrugs. Cursing the Warcamp Orcs, the Balrugs vowed to put an end to those that were not of their clan. They were soon after exiled and left the deserts to find refuge elsewhere.

-III-

Grothmar climbs from the tree, after having analyzed as much of the camp as he could notice. The Balrugs had grown in numbers considerably, they had heavily fortified their walls, and it looked as if they had captured and trained many war boars to fight. A war with them would be costly, but a war with them would be necessary...

After many moons, Grothmar returns to the Warcamp and reports his findings. A crowd of Orcs huddles around him as they hear of their enemy, the Balrugs. Soon after, a drum sounds, beckoning the Warcamp to prepare for a war.

THUMP-THUMP-thump-THUMP-THUMP-thump

Several Orcs head to their huts and begin to strike hammers on anvils, creating swords and weapons for the oncoming war.

THUMP-THUMP-thump-THUMP-THUMP-thump

Many of the Orcs gather up heavy bags of food, while some fight together in training. The Warcamp is alive and breathing, preparing for a clan war with the Balrugs.

THUMP-THUMP-thump-THUMP-THUMP-thump

War is coming.

((The offer for them to rejoin the orc-nation still stands. They will have to go through the whitewash-rehabilitation program however, which is a bout an hour of RP.

Also as you guys stated on skype earliar, you said there was nothing to do on your orc. That is because you guys made the same mistake we made before, relying on others to create roleplay for you That is a mistake we have made before too. You guys did go ahead and create your own clan, the Balrogs. Which was great, but you where very naive in the process of it, I assume you didn't quite grasp some of the concepts of orcs being whitewash.

But to explain to you guys, atleast through my characters eyes on why you where banished/declared whitewash.

1. You guys moved back to Krughanistan in the middle of a war, leaving your fellow orcs to fight while you retreated back to Krughanistan, this through Thore's eyes made him believe you where cowards.

2. Narthok attempted to kill a pregnant shaman, shamans are respected in the orcish culture and attacking one in such a manner was considered dishonorable. She was also pregnant and you attacking her could of resulted in the deaths of Kroga's two cubs, this was considered dishonorable because through Thore's eyes, killing the cubs before they are even able to fight back is a cowards way of killing them.

3. Orcs splitting up like this, also splits up our RP. We are a small race with a small population and we can't have 3 different groups RPing at 3 different spots on the map.

We encourage you guys to generate RP, and creating the Balrog clan was a fantastic way of creating roleplay but the way it was done had in character consequences unfortunately. But the OOC was handled poorly by BOTH sides and it led to arguments and drama which should not be happening.

Also to address ome things brought up on skype.

TrevenT - If you weren't comfortable with the torture RP we where doing on you, all you had to do was let us know in LOOC to tone it down, we would of accommodated. (We can't read minds!)

Narthok - I apologise for calling you immature, but your constant complaining and your way of handling things on teamspeak and Skype led me to have that impression of you.

oh and on a side note, the elf I sent wasn't the only spy. toby2002/Grorz'Azog was the other spy I sent to you to find your camp. He RP'd sending me a map to your camp by bird, but he only sent me the X Coordinate and RPing the other side of the map was destroyed in the travel, since it was well over 1,000 blocks. So when I told you in /tell the x coord that was legit all I knew, at that point I had no idea where your camp was.. I still never saw it lol.

So as it stands, right now. You are all welcome to rejoin the orcs and have your whitewash status removed as long as you all participate in the whitewash rehabilitation program, which is 30-60 minutes of roleplay. This it just done to prove your loyalty to the War Uzg again.

You will also be welcomed to keep your clan, however Narthok you will have to either PK Ogrul, or start a new character because as per orcish tradition once you join a clan it is for life, no leaving to make a new clan. Last time I checked, Ogrul was a Rax before he became Balrog. However if you talk to _Pok_ He may be able to make an exception for you, or perhaps make your clan a son of the Rax Clan so it is not breaking tradition.))
