Today, I discovered something fascinating about my steam account!

 

Usually, I avoid/ignore the little green letter icon at the top of my steam window, mainly because it's usually just filled with those collectable card thingys that I couldn't give a toss about.

 

However, a while back I purchased a four-pack of Guns of Icarus and I remembered having one left over. So, I delved into that annoying green-letter-icon-thingy for duel purposes--one, to see where my extra Guns of Icarus was, and maybe work out a way to turn that annoying green letter icon off (I didn't find one). 

 

Well, I was surprised to learn that not only did I have Guns of Icarus in there, but I had a heap of other games! Observe--

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PC/Mac)

 

Apparently not as good as the original ones, but who has even played those things except total nurds, amirite u guise? It's a good romp if you like turn-based strategy.

 

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (PC)

 

"CHAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGEEEE!!!!" "AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!" "You smell like a woman!" "Oh! He's smart like my shoe!" "FOR MALRICK YOOAARRGHH!" "Well! Aren't you handsome! Would you care for a dance?" "Don't look at me like that! It's creepy!"

It's fun.

 

Civilisation IV (PC/Mac)

 

The precursor to the current Civilisation V, although not nearly as good without the expansions. Still an okay vanilla game, though. Apparently I have two copies of these.

 

Dead Island: Epidemic Beta (PC)

 

No clue what it's like, and nor do I really care. The other Dead Islands are terrible without friends to keep your spirits high. But if you want it, you can have it.

 

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition (PC)

 

Could have sworn I only bought two copies of these, but hey, all the luckier for you guys, right? A very big Bioware RPG with slightly awkward combat. It's a little ugly nowadays, what with the second one out and the third on its way. But, the story is pretty swish and Blood Magic is fun and floopy!

 

Guns of Icarus Online (PC/Mac)

 

A game about blimp-warfare, and smacking engines with plumbing equipment. Also there are cannons, rockets, and flame-throwers. Be a sky pirate, and get yelled at by angry 15 year-olds for bringing the moonshine instead of the kerosene. Still fun regardless of twerps, but most enjoyed with friends!

 

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Game of the Year Edition Deluxe (PC)

 

Awkward voice-acting, awkward combat, slightly old graphics, still better than Skyrim (in my opinion). Also, you get to see Sean Bean play a character that doesn't die! But, sadly, no Dwemer. Well, a little Dwemer, but it doesn't count. With all the extra doodads (including a whole expansion about beloved Sheogorath), what's not to love?

 

System Shock 2 (PC/Mac/Linux)

 

The spiritual precursor to Bioshock. Very, very, very old, but still very chilling. I would not suggest the multiplayer option for this new version though, as it's buggy as all hell. If you want to see why old farts reckoned the 90s were the best era for games, this may pull you over to their side.

 

Half Life 2 (PC/Mac)

 

The sequel to the best game ever made is actually besterer than the best game ever made. I will fight you over this (on the internet. But not really at all).

 

Now that you have seen my plethora of redundant titles, perhaps you might be interested in drawing me some things? Namely, my beloved high elven character, Lucion Sullas.

Lucion hasn't had much art made for him, aside from the doodles of the ever-wonderful Jingeh and Kuroi. I really want a kick-arse picture of the guy, but I don't really have the skills. What I will do is 

give you a description of my snarkie, and you can decide what to do with him in what ever scribbles you deem fit. I will be judging by quality, however! Stick-figures and butt-paintings will not be acceptable!

Concept picture, I guess? The face here is how I picture him, though not-so-much the crown, hair, staff, and clothes.

 

 

 

 

Race: Elf (High elf)

 

Age: 200+

 

Height: 6'6''

 

Build: Thin, weak.

 

Physical Description: Stern, and cold. He always stands stiff and straight with perfect posture. Always keeps his white robes in an impeccably clean condition. He refrains from public emotions (as is proper for a high elf) and will upturn his snobby nose at anything he considers to be improper.

The best part about this picture is Lucion's chin. That, and his amulet makes him look like he's in a very upper-class group of amateur Mr T impersonators! Gorgeous!
