I have a theory that the "missing modreqs" are modreqs players cancelled.

 

It's not a theory, that's what it is mainly. Confirmed that with Techs months ago. Missing doesn't mean "Oh god where did they go?" like it's hide and go seek, it just means they're not modreqs we actually completed and that they're removed from the total count.
