The Cleaning Crew 571 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I was reading the Skulduggery Pleasant series recently. I had to trick the kindle store into thinking I lived in the UK to get most of it, but it's good. It's described as being for 12-14 year olds, and it does start out that way but the further you get into the series, the darker and more serious it gets. There's a lot of comic relief, but it mixes well with the serious atmosphere of the later books.
Space 2335 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Leland is younger than you and I most likely. I think he's older then me. I am clearly so mature, though, right, so It's hard to tell. I used to just read one genre basically, like science fiction, but I think it's good to broaden your horizons and read some other ****. Like just some Vonnegut or Joseph Helleror that sorta 'literature core,' that always will get mentioned in anything related to books. Kurt Vonnegut, the author, has lots of smaller books that are funny and a bit 'thought provoking,' and Joseph Heller's Catch-22 is funny and light, but pretty long. Ever read Rangers Apprentice? I always liked it. Set in a world that is basically England/Europe in the medieval times but with different names and magic and edgy orders and stuff, but good. Has good battles and reasonably good story lines. Pretty long series, and sorta 'childish,' but I think it's good.
