The following notes have been scrawled on rough pieces of paper and cloth, the pen strokes wild and rushed, some streaked as if they have been dampened.

"He let them in. He let in infected. My friend was taken, I managed to get away. He left to save me. This is the fault of Hadrian. I don't know, but I think everyone else may be taken. Ave Humanity. May the betrayer, Hadrian, be judged for his sins. Ave Humanity. Only the Creator can help us now."

A smeared, bloody fingerprint is pressed to the bottom, beneath the message.

Roke wanders the wilderness after abandoning his post, having left Hadrian's wall in order to spare his comrades the risk of infection. His steps are more labored by the hour, struggling to push on through the heat of the day. Eventually he finds himself beside a lake, lying on his back, his head throbbing with the heat of a furnace. His skin becomes ghostly pale and he breaks into coughing fits every few minutes. As he lies there beside the water, Roke mutters to himself, "******* Hadrian Fitzroy...".

"Good man like Hadrian Fitzroy would never do such a thing," says Jean.

Raigeki coughs somewhere in the wilderness as he searches for possible ingredients, carrying a list of what hasn't worked and what had yet to be tried out. He hears of the news during one of his runs to Kaldonia to deliver ingredients.

"Sound like gaijin were already sick and hallucinateeng. Phirry would nevah do such theeng."

He goes back out into the woods to go pick up more mushy stuff that might resemble good health st00f.
