Inferences About The Plague

A letter has been posted everywhere throughout The Fringe:

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, you may not be aware; however, there have been new patterns that have shown up in the cases concerning the Plague that I, Valter, and my brother, Virion, have noticed.

First off, let's go over some symptoms that you should already know:

• Sneezing
• Coughing
• Fatigue
• Random times of Blindness
• Random pains shooting throughout the body
• An inability to run

So with those things in mind, let's go over something else.

Do not I repeat, DO NOT go to an infected person within a few minutes of them being cured by a healer or by potion.

There seems to be a strange pattern going on:

Immediately after a person is cured, they aren't cured fully, in a sense. If you were approached and healed by a healer, you still have a window of time to contract the disease to someone else, the reasoning behind this is unknown.

If you have been cured recently, DO NOT communicate with friends and family, keep yourself quarantined in a separate location, however there is also a risk you may contract the Plague again, so don't assume that means you should go back into quarantine with the other victims. Go back to your home in solitude and stay there.

Moving onto people who have yet to suffer as a result of the Plague, DO NOT KILL THE INFECTED. Not only if you strike them with your sword does it present an opportunity for yourself to get infected, it also has a chance of mobilizing even further: sending the victim to the Monks could leave them far away, leaving more places for them to accidentally infect.

Now onto the Healers and Clerics. Go out and help the infected. You are some of the only few that can stop this disease from happening. My brother and I went out and faced it, without fear or concern for our own well-being, and therefore so should you.

Joseph Garreth is infected but has studyed the disease, it is called the Pneumonic Plague, This plague infects the lungs if you are untreated in this disease there is a 100% chance percent of death. Sleep well, Drink and eat soup, find flowers and plants to eat, those should be your treatments. If you are looking for a treatment seek a monk although the monks dint have a cure they can take the pain away for a limited amount of time.
