What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - the ban of metagaming and powergaming, it gives a better feel to the server and makes it fair for everyone.

What is roleplaying?: - playing a role you are given as if you are the person your playing.

 

What’s metagaming?: - not playing fully as your character.knowing things your character wouldn't and doing things he/she wouldn't.

 

What’s powergaming?: - making yourself overpowered and unfair in RP battles. Asuming that your character is the best and can do anything. essentialy making the bast ever in an unfair way to others.

guards draws his own and commands surrender

bandit slices guards throat and continues on

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - human,northerner

 

What sex are they?: - male

 

How old are they?: - 31

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - born on the outskirts of Vekaro, Lucius was never accepted into society from a young age. kids would chase him, hit him and all round bully him. his family were seen as outcasts, his father was a former bandit and his mother was a serf of the local authority. he hated his life as a child, and swore revenge against all that bullied him. his village was raided as a child by orcs. they slaughtered all in the village but a few of the lucky ones that managed to stay hidden and safe. he decided to enter the city and try to do something useful there and live a normal life, but whilst there he overheard one of the guards say that they knew the raid was going to happen and that it was a revenge for the execution of orc thugs. He was only 17 when he was finally taken in by a mercenary family that he had performed odd jobs for. he slept on the floor of the backroom but he liked it better than the gutter so he didn't complain. he spent the next 8 years working for the family. during that time he learned of the true nature of humans. he had seen time after time the brutality of human and he then realized that if he wanted to be respected in this world he would have to be like the ones he hated, brutal and cunning.for the next five years he started taking up mercenary works and local crime boss jobs. he amassed a nice little amount during that time but it wasn't enough. so on his 31st birthday he decided to venture out of the walls that had held him captive, and make a name of himself.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - deceiving,habit of lying,sneaky,brutal and unhonerable.

 

What are their ambitions?: - to get to a position of power and respect within the mercenary guilds.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - swift with a sword. can handle manual labour well, finds mercenary work appealing and is enthusiastic.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - not very trustworthy, finds it hard to make friends, illiterate due to being on the streets ass a child, loses temper a bit too easy, not patient and cant look after money well.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -  dark brown haired, fit and has some muscles to show.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - not particularly

There are just a few tweaks you'll have to make before I can accept your application.

 

• I'd like you to add just a bit more to your powergaming definition, I think you're just about there but not quite. (You can look up these definitions but you may NOT copy someone else's, make sure you remember that!)
•  Abresi was back in Anthos. I don't exactly know how long it's been but you should be sure to add some sort of transition part to your biography as we're now in the Fringe and Anthos is gone. Here's the page for the Fringe on the wiki. If you need it.
• You should add just a couple more weaknesses and special skills to your character, and remember that they do not have to be combat oriented either.

 

If you just fix up these few things I think you'd have a pretty swanky application here.
