The Shadows Creep... The Darkness Stirs.

Throughout the Fringe denizens of the now war-torn landscape have begun to report seeing something odd that has not been seen since the days of Setherien. Occasionally, while being prefaced by the shadows around growing deeper and darker, a dwarf formed out of a darkness so thick it seems almost to be a liquid makes an appearance, forming out of thin air and shadow.

The figure stands robed in cloth, with only his bearded chin peeking out from below a low hood. His words come as cryptic, strange, and foreign, his motives unclear. He has spoken to dwarf, elf, and human alike, and some among the clerical order even shift uneasily at the mention of him, for he even managed to appear within the confines of their aengulic stronghold, Xatah.

Although a dwarf he does not speak with their dialect, and pronounces perfectly in low, reverberating tones. His tone often comes off as strangely calm, although it comes with an edge of encouragement. As of late he has begun to appear less and less, although during some moments he would appear at a strange time - usually after an attack of a magical manner, or perhaps during a coronation. His robes seem to bear markings, although they are too faded into the darkness to really be distinct enough to see.

Still he seems to appear where he is least expected, and some more magically inclined mortals will occasionally note the strangeness of the shadows around for a moment before they seem to return to normal.

Quick bit of an edit, this is just an 'announcement' of a preliminary event character! be sure to look around for the moments I get to RP this one, he's quite interesting!

One might also hear of a skeletal figure, and his followers.. dread knights the rumors speak? At least, from which is so believed...
