Questions About Elves

For the young mister Monk wishing to become a high elf so far.

By what I read and understood, you can easily become a monk-ish high elf (calm, peacefull, collected and so on) and be fine in the high elven city. Back in the first days in the second map (Asulon) the high elven leader was that kind of person actualy! Tho, having more cloth on than those monks I have seen in movies is adviced, since "pure" high elves are not all into showing skin in public, heck. Kissing in the streets is bad!

To make all this short, the high elves is a fun community which I have enjoyed for what is now a span of about 160 In Charecter years and still is. Even the meanest elves In Charecter (Like Kalenz) can be a funny buddy Out Of Charecter and willing to help in case.

I want to try to be pure and a monk, if I can, although it seems like that might be impossible.

 

Personally My high elf character outwardly tries to be friendly and nice to everyone she meets. There are many ways to do it and still be considered pure. My best advice if you are wanting to play a high elf would be one of two ways. Make a wood/dark elf or human and ask about the Mali'aheral culture and what it means to be pure that way you can learn first hand what they deem to be pure and what they do not., then you can use what you learn to make your new character. Another way to do this would be to look at the many guides there are for high elves. Here I'll link some of them for you. now:

Yeah As the snow elf leader I would advise you join the high elves first and only make a snow elf if you really like them. Snow elves are shorter than most elves and tend to be cold to the touch. There are several lore posts on it but you've already stated you don't want to read it

Bascially, Snow elves wanted to be special snow snowflakes, and didn't want to go mainstream so they invented their own ****. Go with High Elves or Wood elves, it's safer. 

 

I thought RP was dynamic? Come on now, no need to bastardize everything that is created after the fact.
