How did you hear about us?: - A bunch of my friends play and I would like to join them.

Definitions
 
These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - Acting out a roll for a specific purpose. To be "In Character".
 
What’s metagaming?: - Discovering something about another player and acting on it, With no regards to whether or not your character would technically know that information. Exe, Somone tells you Phill is going to break into your home OOC, And so you go and attack Phill before he gets the chance.
 
What’s powergaming?: - Forcing another player to do an action Against their will. Exe, I run at you and stab you in the gut you fall down and die.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -

Rorik was born in Kal'Azgoth, his family lived in poverty. Living in the dwarven slums as miners they worked hard and received little. As Rorik grew his family wanted better for him so his mother took a risk and became a priest of Brathmordakin. It payed more then a miner and it made her happier. They had food on the table every night and they were able to afford ale now and again. Rorik's father still wanted more for the child. Abandoning the mine Rorik's father went out into the streets of Kal'Azgoth seeking out new work. He managed to find a job at a local smith crafting nails, tools and doing repairs.

Together his parents were able to pull their family out of poverty. They moved to a nicer house and when Rorik was old enough they managed to get him in to a nice school.

 

At the age of 13 when most little dwarflings are growing there beards Rorik was just getting stubble. School was hard for Rorik, All the other dwarves made fun of him calling him “Rorik the beardless dwarfling”. Rorik did not have many friends because of it. However, There was a young dwarf female who took interest in Rorik. Her name was Reyga. He and Reyga became great friends. The first night he took Reyga to see his family his mother and father were overjoyed to know their son has a friend like Reyga.

 

Rorik and Reyga grew up together. And by the time they were out of school Rorik had a full on beard. He and Reyga helped Rorik's father at the smith. One day Reyga had the idea to run their own smith. They gathered their mina together and got a old shop near Reyga's house. They weren’t the most popular shop in town but having the three jobs really brought in the mina. When Rorik was in his twenties his father lost his job because the smith shut down. And so he decided to join the dwarven military. Rorik was not happy to hear this he tried hard to get his father to stay but he wouldn’t. And so within the week Roriks father was leaving for the Military. “Every dwarves Duty” he said. And so Rorik was left with his mother and Reyga. By this time there shop was getting more and more customers. Adventurers looking for new weapons, Military weapon orders and even travelling merchants buy his wares. Some years later Rorik's mother died of old age. “Doctors said it was just her time”. She died happy and with a smile. The last words she said to Rorik were. “Be who you want, Travel some, And take Reyga with you”. Rorik accepted his mothers death like any other. He mourned for her. Realizing that the house was now his alone he asked Reyga to move in with him. She hesitated but said yes. Rorik's father came home that year, When he opened the door to his home he embraced his son. Looking around he noticed the absence of his dear wife. Rorik though it was hard told him of her passing. Rorik will never forget the look on his fathers face. Rorik's father was furious with himself, Blamed himself for her death if only he would have stayed if only he was there for her he could have helped. She would not be dead now. Grief swept his father into a sadness that did not end. He drank, he yelled, and after a year he just sat there in his chair waiting for his wife to come back.

Not long after Roriks father passed away. Rorik came home from the smith and he was lying there on the floor by his chair. And so Rorik buried another of his parents.

 

Years later Reyga told Rorik that they needed to talk. She told him that she was going to Al'Khazar. With her mother, to visit her brother who lived there. Rorik though sad accepted this. She left the following week. Rorik ran the smith for sometime on his own receiving letters from Reyga every week. Rorik had it planed out. When Reyga got back he was going to propose to her. One week later however the letter did not come. Rorik waited for another week, Still no letter. Rorik started to assume she was just busy with he brother. But about mid week on the third letter-less week, he got a letter from Reyga's Brother. Saying that the city of Al'Khazar was attacked. And many people died. Rayga was one of the casualties. Rorik angry with himself for letting her go, Angry with the world for taking her, angry at the humans for not defending there city. So much anger built up inside him. He was all alone, buried every one he ever loved. He sold the shop, sold the house and left Kal'Azgoth. With nothing but meagre possessions. Now Rorik is alone as traveller trying to find a purpose in his life.

What are they like? (personality): - Rorik is Very kind to every one, But he can seem grumpy at times. He seems as though he is always looking for something. And he is a restless sleeper.

 
What are their ambitions?: - Rorik needs to find something to live for. He thinks he has nothing left to lose often making him do stupid or risky stuff.

 
Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Rorik is great on the forge. If you need someone to talk to he will listen and he's a big help in combat but his past haunts him. He has a weak heart. His friends are also a weakness. He'll do anything for them.
