The Complete Nexus-Region Bug Report

This is the complete list of issues I found when using the Nexus-Regions town pillar as an owner.

I do not know others that may involve being a member or a different rank.

PASSPORTS

if an owner or someone capable of whitelisting clicks on the 'Check Passports' part of the Whitelisting application the pillar breaks. The Owner and all ranks are reduced to seeing only the 'inhabitants' and they cannot interact with any other part of the pillar.

PERMISSIONS

After getting the region configured so that players who aren't added can't build I added someone by accident and removed them, but they still had build perms after they had been removed.

INHABITANTS LIST

The inhabitants list only shows 10 members of the region, no more.

RANK MANAGEMENT

Ranks cannot be deleted under any circumstance

I cannot edit the basic member rank, but there are work arounds.

NUMBERS

Even though my plot is 25 people active to claim the 'Information' is still telling me I need /50 players.

RELINQUISH OWNERSHIP

(Second hand)

If this is clicked according to outside sources it will cause the pillar to delete and you will be able to pick it up but you will not be able to place a pillar back in that region.

Region declares area as have 0/15 active people needed.

We have well over the 15 logged in and doing things within the town, all accepted as citizens to the town.

I was one of the ones to discover this. I believe its the mechanic that disallows you from repeatedly claiming a plot if you don't have the right amount of people, but the problem is that if you place the pillar down in an awkward spot you cannot move it without it claiming you have failed to claim the plot once. Not so much a bug as an oversight in the code methinks, but thats just how I see it

...yeah. Well over the 15 people. It now says one person is active. What is the criteria for "activity"?

To be active you have to have been online while registered in the town for 2 hours methinks

Two consecutive hours? I certainly hope not as some people can only spare an hour or so to RP a day, but this certainly doesn't constitute for their activity over a week.

Adding this as an issue

I should have all the perms to add people or change the pillar. Even on my other account

Also those who arent even on the pillar can destroy blocks in the region.

Thank you for the thread. I really appreciate having everything composed in a single thread as it saves the issue of multiple reports of the same bug.

The region keeps track of active as well as total citizens. You need a certain amount of active members (as the prompt would display) by the end of each activity check to satisfy the requirement. Passports do not count towards this requirement.

You are indeed not able to replace a pillar in a region after relinquishing ownership if your region is unprotected. This is to prevent exploits where people claim regions with the purpose of simply not allowing another group to have it.

All other issues mentioned here should have been fixed at time of writing. Let me know if any new or reoccurring bugs rear their heads.
