~The Criminal Awakening~

 

 

Dusk turns into night. The criminals of the past and present awaken for the future. Men clad in fine clothing wield nothing but bare fists calmly walk forward without fear of being caught. Ruffians who hiss the names of their soon to be victims clothed in rags wield daggers. The Oren Capital is their target. Vile filth can be seen roaming the dark alleyways with black looks sneering and snorting at men with fancy clothing. Something is ary with these criminals however. They all seem to be heading toward a destination in the city. Hundreds of criminals working their way toward a single point. Something is going to happen, and it isn't going to be small. The only clues are corpses of dead men who were caught up at the wrong time.

Night turns to early morning. The old and young militants of the Imperium awaken for the future. Men clad in well-made munition grade armour wield a variety of weapons and their pride for their kingdom. Ruffians who foolishly hiss the names of their soon to be victims are heard, and duly flogged in public. The Oren Capital is their grave. Vile filth can be seen being beaten to a pulp in the dark alleyways, unable to sneer or snort at men in fancy clothing as they're too busy having their heads  bashed into a stone wall. There is nothing awry with these criminals however. They all seem to be heading towards a destination in the city. Multiple criminals are dragged up to a single point in the city, black bags over their heads. Something is going to happen, and it will be small in comparison to other situations the men of the Imperium have been in. The obvious clues of the Orenian soldiers work are the hung corpses of useless filth who decided to cause trouble.
