- A fun roleplaying server with a lot of players and good plugins.

- “Metagaming and powergaming of any kind are not allowed” is the rule I agree with the most because it’s not fun when players roleplay in those selfish ways-- it ruins the game for me.

Definitions

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

What is roleplaying?:

- Roleplaying is like theatre, except much more personal and adaptable. You create a character and then act like that character. You take on the role of your character and act out his/her life in-game by interacting with other player’s characters.

What’s metagaming?:

- Using information you obtained OOCly and using that information to your unfair advantage ICly.

What’s powergaming?:

- Unfairly making your character to succeed in unrealistic circumstances. It’s a selfish way of roleplaying and always creates an atmosphere of agitation and unhappiness for everyone else who is trying to roleplay in a just and fair way.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.):

- Leofrick was born into a large peasant family of six brothers and 1 sister, making him the eighth child of the family. His family owned a farm on the Emperor's land at the base of Godfrey's Peaks in the fields surrounding Petrus. There on that farm is where he spent his childhood, running and playing with his siblings and then later working on the farm when he was old enough. Leofrick enjoyed his trips to go work in the Emperor's fields with his brothers (the Emperor forced farmers who owned a farm on his land to work in his fields a few times a week). It gave him the chance to see more of Petrus and to talk to other farmhands who also owned farms on the Emperor's land.

Ever since Leofrick was a young boy, his father, Terryn, would always tell him that work ethic is important and would teach him to be a responsible man. His mother, Helena, would also do her best to influence her son to be responsible, but also to act maturely and have good mannerisms. Leofrick respected his parents and learned to be responsible, work hard on the farm, and also to act like a gentleman. Terryn and Helena continued to have more children and raise them as farmhands on the farm.

When Leofrick turned the age of twelve, two of his older brothers left the farm to join the military. Leofrick longed to go with his brothers, but he was much younger than sixteen. He still felt much love for the farm and would miss it greatly if he left anyway. However, after four more years of working on the farm (in those years getting taller and stronger) and watching more of his siblings leave, he started wanting to follow in his brother's footsteps and discover what the world had to offer other than peaceful living in the countryside. So, when Leofrick turned sixteen he left the farm and enlisted for the military of Petrus. He was sad to leave his family at the farm, but he was ready to enter the world outside his childhood just as his brothers had a few years before him.

Leofrick arrived at Petrus where he found his brothers wearing their armor and surcoats with the Emperor's symbol on them. He was delighted to see his brothers again and was excited to join the military and be given the official surcoat of Petrus where the Emperor ruled. Leofrick was indeed given a surcoat, as well as some armor and a fine sword which he would learn how to use at the Petrus training grounds. After a few months, Leofrick had improved enough to be considered a soldier of Petrus. He took pride in his ability to wield a sword and enjoyed his life as a soldier.

One day, when Leofrick was 18 years old, he received a written letter sent to him from his farm which stated that his father was ill and that he will most likely pass away in that very month (someone read the letter to him because he cannot read). Leofrick was deeply saddened at hearing this bad news so he left the military right away to go see his father back at the farm. Unfortunately Terryn's illness had worsened and he died before Leofrick returned home. When Leofrick did return, he mourned for his fathers death with Helena and the rest of the family and they found a place to bury Terryn's body. He noticed that the farm was not in very good shape and that his family was no longer able to maintain it. Helena and Leofrick came to the conclusion to leave the farm and find somewhere else where the work wasn't so laborious. In this decision, Helena took herself and the rest of her children who had not moved away from the farm yet (two sons and one daughter) to go live in Petrus. There she found a job as a silkworker and rented a small townhouse for herself and the three children. Leofrick ensured that his mother and siblings were well-off in their new home and he left them as many coins as he could afford to give. He bid Helena farewell and left.

Leofrick then had the choice to return to the military or leave Petrus and explore the realm of Athera as a young adventurer. Now that he had no ties in Petrus -- with the farm no longer in his family's name -- he was free to go anywhere he wanted.

What are they like? (personality):

- Leofrick is humble, very hard working, independant, but also shy and unconfident because of his background as a peasant farmboy.

What are their ambitions?:

- Leofrick wants to explore more of Athera and prove to people that he can live an accomplished life and prove himself as a soldier despite his history as a peasant.

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both):

- Leofrick obtains good farming skills and high work ethic. He can wield a sword like an average soldier -- not overly impressive but not poorly. However, Leofrick cannot read or write.

Give us a description of how they look?:

- Short dark brown hair that is slightly curly, dark blue eyes, lean and muscular body gained through his work as a farmhand, white skin tone that is slightly tanned. Leofrick wears a light brown shirt and dark green leggings with brown boots at his feet and a light belt around his waist.
