What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Metagaming and Powergaming: Metagaming happens far too much in role-play, and it ruins the whole experience.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yep.

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Assuming the role of a specific character, and staying in that role.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Going outside of roleplay, outside of their perception range and knowledge. An example can seeing a name through a wall, with the Minecraft client, then speaking to them as if one already knew their name.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Using actions against another player, which are unrealistic when your character is unable to do so. Example: Jakkur punches a hole through Urhag's skull. (If Jakkur is incredibly weak)

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - As a child, Graz loved to wander. He was always trying to leave his home, to get to San'Vitar, to see the Orcs. One day, when no one was paying attention, Graz ran. He quickly grabbed a slice of melon and went out the door. He studied about Krug in his father's library, and was amazed at how Krug was the one who distrusted Iblees. Graz had only made it halfway, when he spotted a golden object. When he went to inspect it, he saw that it was stuck in the ground. After he pulled it out, it turned out to be a shovel. The ten year-old not understanding why it was there, he decided that there must have been something buried, so he started digging. He found only a small ingot of gold, but this excited him, and he decided to start digging for treasure. When he returned, his parents were displeased, but were glad that he had returned safely. They allowed him to use the gold ingot to spend on whatever he wanted. He bought a shovel. When Graz was 17, he decided to go back to the spot where he dug the treasure, this time with his shining iron shovel. When he arrived, it was almost midnight, and there was a large bandit, peering into the hole. The bandit had a confused look on his face, but when he saw Graz with the shovel, it turned into a sinister face. He charged at Graz with an iron dagger, and looked like he was ready to kill. Graz closed his eyes and raised the shovel right before the bandit hit him. Clang! The bandit fell unconscious, and Graz quickly fled. Three years later, he decides to start exploring farther than that point, to make a man of himself. To search for more treasure.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Graz is kind, giving generous gifts unto others, and defending the honor of his friends. He enjoys being in a group, but is fine individually. He works much faster when he (paradoxically) has active conversations with people.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He aims to be a treasure hunter - excavating and finding buried gold and other valuables.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Graz is good with a shovel - he is great at bashing heads, or excavating for treasure. He loves to explore the land, and enjoys the fresh breeze of air when he's running about. He is a bit timid, especially at midnight. He often doesn't even come out, but when he does he attempts to sneak about cautiously, scared that monsters will come out of nowhere. This childish fear has stayed with him through all his years.
