The Sentinel just stares at the final post for a couple moments, before slowly blinking.

"Well. That was an unexpected turn of events..."

"Make sure to include my drawing. I always wanted Elsohaer to see my drawings."

Sulleya grins as she writes a response.

1. Do you believe that elven kind is truly united
No, nor should it be.
2. Why is it that dark elf would be scrutinized if they mated with a high elf, note that both would be pure elves
Because it would produce an impure disgrace to society.
3. Do you believe that child of mixed elven heritage (still purely elven) should be exterminated
Yes. Throw them from the walls into the acid pits!
4. What do you think can be done to improve your government if any are needed"

I would like them to enforce a stricter segregation between the mali'aheral and the other mali', purge the impure with greater haste, and create more ways to deal with said impure.

Dak'ir happens across one of these papers. He furrows his brow upon reading the second question before writing his own answers.

1. Do you believe that elven kind is truly united

No, and it never will be.

2. Why is it that dark elf would be scrutinized if they mated with a high elf, note that both would be pure elves

Why in this good world would any self respecting mali'ker mate with a high elf? To do so is to spit upon our ancestors and we are too few in number as it is. Besides, mali'aheral are frail beings, the children would never survive.

3. Do you believe that child of mixed elven heritage (still purely elven) should be exterminated

No. But if the mali'aheral choose to wipe out those that are half aheral, let them. They do not care if mali'ame and mali'ker mate.

4. What do you think can be done to improve your government if any are needed"

I frankly do not care what the high elven government does. As long as people have a home they can feel safe in.

You see papers attached to trees with a very sticky substance

"I'd ask that only elves answer the following questions

1. Do you believe that elven kind is truly united

2. Why is it that dark elf would be scrutinized if they mated with a high elf, note that both would be pure elves

3. Do you believe that child of mixed elven heritage (still purely elven) should be exterminated

4. What do you think can be done to improve your government if any are needed"

The rest of the paper is mostly empty, allowing for several responses

Salazar looks upon the sheet and takes a small piece of parchment out from his satchel of never ending wonder and begins scribbling his reply upon it.

1, Elven-kind is like sand, separate but united in one mass whether they like it or not. Each elf is a grain of sand, worn away from a much larger rock over time and eventually coming to rest together to form one giant community. Every so often this community of sand is bombarded by the waves, such as Oren. When the waves come, the sand relents and is washed away, paving the way for new sand to take its place. The point of this metaphor is that elven kind can only be truly united when they come to terms that they must form a stable government that benefits /all/ elven kind. It is due to the rampant growth of pessimistic culture in Haulen'or over the centuries that have made elven kind grainy and fine. Easily washed away by a wave. The mali'ahreal have grown too haughty and overconfident in their pureness and it /will/ be their downfall. As a mali'ahreal myself I find it disgusting that many do not see that by allowing this false unity to continue we open ourselves to vulnerabilities later on.

2. Purity of culture. While the mali'ahreal often take it to the extremes, they are correct about maintaining elvish purity. Each culture is separated by the surroundings of which each elf has adapted to. Allowing interbreeding shatters this wall and invites all sorts of nonsense into the mix.

3. Exterminated? No, the blame is not upon them but upon those that allowed it to happen. It is a burden all must bare. At any rate, it is more acceptable to treat them as second class citizens rather then exterminate them totally.

4. Reformation.

The note is left unsigned.

3. Perhaps, for their own good. Pure elves have enough trouble in life anyways, elves do not need more burdens upon them.

A reply is posted cause there was something about these being compiled and posted in public.

If there were no impurity laws they wouldn't have any trouble in their lives. Dumbass.
