Azoth Hawksong steps through the gate, looking around at the Mali whom dot the streets. He takes in a deep breath before he turns and starts towards a stone support for the local Tea House. He huffs before raising up a parchment paper and extends it to the pillar, it sticking upon it. He steps back, admiring the writing before he turns and starts out.

The letter reads as followed:

Dear Mali'llir,

I am Azoth Hawksong, Ailer of the Mind and practitioner of peace. I write this letter to apologize for my transgressions against my kin. As most of you know, I was raised away from the influence of the Malinorian lifestyle. I was taken away by my parents in the land known as Elysium to live in a settlement known as Salvus. My Maln died of disease on the boat ride to Anthos and my mother months later by a drunken client. Leaving the city, I journeyed for years.

Throughout my life, I have tried to rejoin my people under the impression I was of Mali'aheral decent. I lived through the Trials, persecution and pain throughout my life. But, I was always loyal to my Mali kin, even returning as a deemed Impure to protect and liberate the Silver City.

Decades ago, I discovered my families true identity; House Hawksong. Joining my cousin Titania Hawksong, I began to realize that my family was openly accepting me into their ranks. After the fall of Malinor, I lost contact with the family. I wandered the world for the years to come, eventually locating the Mali'aheral once more.

I write this letter not as a biography, but an explanation as to why I am ashamed of my recent realizations. On a whim, I delved into my family's past and discovered something that should have been obvious... I am of Mali'ame decent, not Mali'aheral. This is a worrying discovery considering my fair, pale skin and bright, blonde hair.

I apologize for this recent uncovering, and I openly admit that I am ashamed for these transgressions and seek acceptance into the society in which I base my beliefs. I hope you think of my words and gran to be the blessing of which I ask for.

- Azoth Hawksong

17th of the Snow Maiden, 1471

Cyrus, curious as any would get out, is the first to read the letter and breaks the seal eagerly. A small frown appears upon his face as his eyes scan across the parchment and an expression of discontent marks his face as he finishes the letter. He looks about quickly to see if anyone's watching and quickly reseals the letter and sticks it back where it was. Leaving the letter to be alone, he mumbles to himself "A most unfortunate discovery, I must say. I certainly hope he would be of full mali'ame blood, lest he be slain for mixed blood. I should hate to see such a horrific turn of events. Must have been quite surprising for him, indeed."

"An Elmali'ame which appears like a Mali'aheral?" Andria Ith'ael sighs as she talks to the group in the inn, once she gets a chance to read the letter. "I doubt that this is true... Ehya merely a way to escape such prosecution"

Elrolas, after eventually getting hold of the announcement from his cousin, sends him a letter.

"We are Mali'aheral. Nice try though.

I would like to also state I am pure while you mix blood.

- Ellie."

Elorna sends Azoth a private letter which recommends a steady diet of carrots and added time spent outdoors tanning in the sun in order to improve his coloring and bring out the Mali'ame orange-brown.

Aeran nods slowly, sipping his tea, his pinky raised.

"I say we liquify him, personally."
