Hello everyone, I am looking for elves to join my clan. the clan name is Volaren. the Volaren clan is built on respect and honor. military service and skilled labour are seen as the way to gain both respect in the clan and honor. 

 

*This clan is not based in Haelun'or, but members may live there W/O penalties, this clan is also willing to help show new players the ropes, and help them to develop their role-play personas*

 

Details

the clan is based in the city of Polaris, which is under the nation of Asterwald, although you do not have to live in the city, we would greatly appreciate it if you did.

 

We are a clan of wood elves, but you don't have to be a wood elf, you can be any type of elf. since we are a clan you do not have to be related to us, although you can be if you want to, this means that you can keep your character if its an elf and use rp to join the clan if you like.

 

the clan flag is a light blue, white, light blue pattern with a bow in the white middle part.

 

The way that polaris's government is laid out lets our clan be a large part of the government structure, and the duke of the city will take the clans feedback and suggestions/demands very seriously.

 

Related wood elves

This part is for people who would like to make a new character only, if you want to be initiated into the clan you can ignore this.

 

The Volaren family has brown hair, green eyes, very light brown to almost human skin colored skin and are excellent archers.

The Volarens display traits of great patience, they are very giving, but they will not tolerate those who would try to waste their time with trickery or deceitfulness.

 

Non-Related elves

This is the part for people who would like to keep their elf character and would like to join the clan in RP.  for those of you who do not wish to make a new character or would like to enhance your elf character you can still join the clan, your character will NOT be related to the Volaren family, but will be treated as such and all members of the volaren family will treat you as their equal. you can either message me through the forums and we can discuss how you want to be invited or ask to join the clan, or you can pm me in game (professorus) as well as Guz Volaren (miky991) and we will get you initiated into the clan.

 

Volarens in the military

The volaren men are usually either drawn to be extremely talented at either a skill, or have been a part of some sort of military service, usually the Elberu'cinhir (hope i spelled that right.) but have now found themselves a spot on the Polar Wache of the city Polaris, they make up a special regiment of horse archers (You will be given a horse and studded leather armor, as well as supplied with a bow and arrows if you join.) and usually turn the tide of battle.

 

Volarens and Polaris

The city of polaris is made up of a Duke and a council of clans, this clan is the first clan to join the council, and has its insights carefully thought over by the duke due to his respect for our clan. as i previously said, they usually join the miltary and in the case of Polaris they will make up their own special regiment.

 

Clan structure

The clan is laid out with the leader or Drakv as the head of the clan, and is the one who will attend council meetings and make all final decisions pertinent to the clan. then next are the clan elders, those who are wise and have seen much of the world (old, they're old) who hold much honor and respect in the clan. next comes those in the military, who are considered to hold more honor and respect than the average Volaren as they serve to protect the clan and the city, next up is the skilled workers, the more skilled you are at your profession the more honor and respect you will hold, and lastly comes the Volarens that do not have a profession or are in the military, if you choose to not have any jobs or services, you will hold the least honor and will be treated with the least respect of the clan (ya lazy bum.)

Aveline Volaren

Female wood elf, she is tough and protective of her child Kael, who is named after his father who was killed in a surprise raid conducted by snow elves.

(I always thought playing a parent would be fun, but i could never get into romance rp, thats why the father is dead, also she has a deep hatred of the snow elves for killing her husband.)

 

Kael Volaren

Young male wood elf (about 12ish years old), he is playful and likes to play pranks on the other clan members, he is named after his father. 

(have fun with this character and pull lots of pranks, like egging houses, and dropping buckets of water on people)

 

Codriel Volaren

Young male wood elf (in his 20's), Codriel is in the polar wache of polaris, he is hot headed and sometimes his heavy attitude and brash actions gets him in trouble.

 

Fillin Volaren

Male wood elf (about 100 years old), Fillin had a falling out with the clan in the past and had taken up arms with various bandit groups, but has recently been accepted back into the clan and wishes to make amends and atone for his past.

 

Boroch Volaren

Old male wood elf, Boroch is a clan elder, he is very wise and has lots of patience, his words are heavily considered by drakv Vykk Volaren, and holds a position of high respect and honor.
