You using adblock not only stops supporting the internet, but shows that you could care less, assuming you know anything about how the internet works. You like YouTube, at all? When you don't have adblock on, all of your favorite content creators don't get jack poo from your views, other than internet points (...you know, another arbitrary view added onto their count). Not only that, but you're spitting in the site's face. It could be YouTube, Facebook, reddit, Tumblr, or whatever the hell you use. They're free services. To front the cost of being free, they display advertisements. But as for the actual topic... yeah, ads are based on your search history. There's bazillions of people who don't use AdBlock, so one guy isn't gonna make a difference. I suffer of slight OCD, and Ads just tick me off really badly. They're annoying. monkeypoacher 8055 Share Posted September 19, 2014 adblock is actually kinda great when you're dealing with obnoxious noisy horseshit that distracts you from whatever it is you're doing, redirects you to malware, or attempts pop up fuckery.
