Seeking A Teacher

*A large Raven rests atop a notice board, in its sharp claws rests a notice*

 

"To whom is reading my message, I, Allanon, Son of Cadby, is seeking a teacher of magic, my obvious doubts rest in no response, but if one talented in the arts of magic reads this. Know this, I would prove myself as a student, as I have nothing to lose, but everything to prove.

If you are willing to teach, simply give my Raven a note of when and where, and I shall be there.

Sonn pins his own note up on the notice board it reads

 

"Many mages will tell this is not the way to gain a teacher.I however am not a mage like that. I will be willing to teach

you Geomancy as my master once taught me. It is a rare magic nowadays and I need a successor when my death eventually comes.

I will teach you, If you prove yourself worthy.

"I would, should you prove yourself as you say, teach you magic. Illusion? Various alterations? Telekinesis? Air evocation?

 

Also, ignore the rockhead offering "geomancy". Either he is an orcish shaman who can manipulate rock, or he's a complete fool. Geomancy is the name given to those who can manipulate rock which is already there ready and around them. He surely cannot do this. He can merely conjure rock from the void. He is an Evocationist.  

 

I wouldn't put too much faith into someone who doesn't even know what their own art is called.
