Before I start, I want to bring up the  topic that I was banned nearly three years ago due to a modded client that I had installed. I feel that I have served my time and I hope that the staff can look past my wrong-doings and give me a second chance. Now onto my application:

What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - gman7066

 

How old are you?: - I am sixteen years old

 

Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes, I have been a part of many different roleplay servers including this one as well as Calsky Islands. Calsky was a good server with about 20 active people on average that were active but soon fell underway when the owner started to ban their most favorited admins.

 

Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - I have applied before and have been accepted. Once again, I am a returning member to the community. If you wish to view a link to my application from a few years back, ask, and I will do.

 

How did you hear about us?: - I have played on this server once before and have had knowledge of this server since.

 

What do you think the server will be like? - Since it has been a few years, I feel that it has matured and flourished into the server that had the potential being a while back. Although I am unsure what the community will be like, I am more than sure that I will be further impressed by the custom plugins as well as the architecture of the spawn and surrounding areas. 

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have read and agreed to the rules.

 

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - My favorite rule is the "Fade to Black" rule. I've had personal experience with acting and I love the term as well as the idea that some things are better left un-acted.

 

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- I understand the combat rules and understand that both players need to consent to PvP before they engage in it. I also understand that a player needs special permission (villain application) in order to do certain types of roleplay and combat.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- I have no further questions about the rules. They were made clear and easy to understand and read.

 

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act in which you become somebody whom you are not. It is a way to escape real life and create a universe in which you are a part of and can mold around you or others.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the use of OOC (out of character) information to use IC (in-character) to give oneself an advantage over player(s).

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is using the game mechanics to overpower oneself while in-game. And example of this:

 

Alex: *Walks into room and kills all who is in there*

 

This is a perfect example of powergaming. If you are a true RP'er, you would follow the roleplaying at the time, but would later bring it up to the staff to handle.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -

 

My journey has been one of epic proportions. I have lived throughout the ages and have seen many things, but the vast, everlasting world of Aegis still surprises me. Watching the days pass and wars brute on, I look at the reflection of my past and present but I see no future. I grew up told to do my work and play later. But is that the only thing I must do in life? What is there to see outside of this gray mountain-side that I call home? My life, My journey, and My destiny begins here.

 

My earliest memories of home were in the caves of Kal'Urguan where I was born. I was born a mighty child with wide shoulders, black, curly hair, and deep amber colored eyes. I was immediately favored by my parents. My mother would always brag about how I was able to carry my father's pickaxe by the age of five and a half. I was always able to see both of my parents everyday, unlike my friends who had fathers who would stay in the mines over-night or stay out with their friends until late at night. 

 

Mother and Father were very proud of their only born child that they decided to bring up another son. I was twelve years old and by then I and was bigger than most of my friends. I had started to develop facial hair as well as muscle mass. I was perfect in the eyes of my parents. Then they announced their second son, my brother, Irluck. We had gone to a druid in the Elven Kingdom of Laurelin to figure out about what our newest addition would be like in his future. When we spoke with him he said he only saw blackness. We were terrified what that meant but it later made sense after his pre-mature birth caused him to have a bone disorder and caused him to have no arms. He was an odd-looking child, having no arms but very wide shoulders like my father and I. We knew that he had no place in the world because what could he do? Our main causes in life are to mine, fight, and drink, but how could somebody do that without any arms? Mother and Father were devastated at Irluck's outcome. But he was my brother and friend. I could never abandon his side or look at him funny no matter how hard I tried. I never looked at him as a misfit, I just perceived him as someone with more obstacles to overcome in life and I felt that it was my duty to push him through and stand by his side through all of them.

 

Ten years later he died.

 

My world turned upside down and everything turned black. How could this happen? I tried everything in my bones to set him up for success. But looking back, everything I did was pointless in the end. The medical team in Kal'Urguan said that the reason he had no arms was because he was plagued by a curse. A curse that no shaman or duid or dwarf could every cure. His bones suffered from lack of calcium and his body was slowly rejecting all calcium from helping his bone structure become stronger. This is not what killed him though. One day while I was working in the mines, he came running to me with a huge grin on his face. Everytime I saw him running it made me smile. Not because it was funny to watch a dwarf with no arms run, but because it was always hard for him to do tasks like that and when I see him over-come those challenges it made me feel like he could do anything. But while he was running he had tripped over a lantern and it was just filled with kerosene. The full lantern had broken and flames erupted throughout the mines. Chaos had emerged and panicked aroused. Everyone at one time ran out the only exit and didn't look down to see the helpless child underneath their feet. I tried to push my way through everyone but it was so overwhelming to see what had happened that I didn't notice that the fire was quickly spreading and had caught on my clothes. Everything happened so fast and it went out like a blur.

 

I had awaken many days later with bandages wrapped around the right side of my body and my face. I was just coming to when my mother and father rushed to my side with tears streaming down their faces. This was the only time that I had ever seen my father cry. "I thought we had lost you too" he said. "You too?" I asked. They both looked at each other then back to me and proceeded to tell me that my brother had not made it out of the fire. They said that he was already dead due to the immense pressure of the miners running on top of him. I felt tears run down my face but pain soon snuck its way back in to my life and on to the right side of my face. The tears burned. Like a slow fire over that was consuming my body piece by piece.

 

Life had never been the same after that day. The next many years of my life were spent alone within the confides of wherever the Dwarves went to. I had to move many times and fight many battles and struggle through many nightmares of my past to be where I am today. I am not proud of what I am but after my parents passing, I have no-one else but my reflection.

 

 

 

What are they like? (personality): - Brahm is a walking wall of stone. He doesn't care to show his emotions and stands his ground like a stone wall. Like his father, Brahm only cares for his clan as well as family and kin. Anyone who gets in his way will have a hard time trying to get around his immobilizing glare and broad shoulders.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Brahm's goals are to serve his nation and live a peaceful life by himself. His feelings are numb and under a thick slab of skin, protected by the memories of sadness and regret. 

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Brahm is a strong, dedicated worker. He has always been like this throughout his whole life. He does not know how to wield a sword, but he does know how to use his pickaxe. During the many wars, he never once had to resort to a sword because of his pickaxe that he believes part of his brother is blessed with. Brahm's main weakness is the remembrance of his brother, Irluck, and well as his brutal scar on the right side of his body and face. They are still tender from the memories of the past.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Brahm has deep amber colored eyes, long black hair, and a predominant scar on the right side of his face. Brahm is roughly 4'6'' tall and very muscular. He looks almost like he could be human if it weren't for his height and skin color (and excessive drinking problem).
