Minecraft Name: silent_slayer

Skype ID: Matt (Silent_slayer)

Time zone: EST

Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report: Yes I have, way back during Asulon but there was never any report made.

Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions?: No I have not, and this saddens me.

What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present): WoW, D&D Online, Mount and Blade: Persistent World, The Elder Scrolls Online

What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?: I only have one character at the moment, and his name is Sylen Drayzont the second. I would need a lot of convincing to sacrifice him to become an Event Team member

What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.: I believe my events would best cater to Elves and humans, possibly dwarves as well. However any group/guild would be fine as well.

What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?: I believe that the most key factor for a successful event is to give every player involved some opportunity to do something important, and make sure everyone gets some enjoyment out of it, including the ET member. If the ET member doing it is enthusiastic the event will be more awesome and interesting, as opposed to an uninterested ET member who is just boring and unappealing with their events.

When was the last time you saw a event?: About a week ago when Swgrclan was in Petrus as a hooded figure, creating some interesting RP from the rooftops and instilling fear in the citizens below.

What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?: I have an alright knowledge about lore, and am rather good at organizing, with my greatest strength being able to learn fast. If I'm going to be doing an event that I'm not entirely knowledgeable on, I could very quickly become so by reading up on the lore and asking a couple of questions if need be.

Why do you want to be part of the ET?: I want to join the ET to help create some fun RP for the players when the server is a bit still so people aren't bored. My hope is to become a bit more recognized by the community, and one day advance to a higher position in the staff so I can do more.

Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

1) For 1-3 person: An decrepit old man is sitting hunched in a tavern, the dim flickering light of the candles casting shadows across his wrinkled old face. In his hands he grasps a tattered old map, his weary eyes moving back and forth. A couple of young adventurers decided to go talk to the man, and he tells them of a wonderful treasure hidden in a cave just north of the tavern, along a dirt path. The adventurers accept and head off into the evening to find this treasure, only to arrive in a forrest as the sun begins to set, the creeping noises off the night moving in. They soon find themselves wandering through the woods, until one of them spots a light in the distance, shrouded by the tree trunks and foliage. As they get nearer, they begin to hear a loud grumbling, and see large fire with whole sheep being roasted on a spit above. They now sit on the edge of a clearing, and standing on the other side of the fire looms a big ugly troll picking his nose as he roasts the sheep. He hasn't spotted them yet, and behind him they can see a cave, with something shiny reflecting the flickered light of the fire. If they choose to fight, one of them will likely die, but the other will have all the treasure to himself. They could try and distract it into the woods while one of them grabs the treasure, but risk it coming back as they haul their loot away. If they are too cowardice, they could even turn around and go home, but even that gives the risk of them snapping a branch and being heard. The choice is their's to make.

2) For a group of 5-10: Word has been spreading through a small village that a group of Undead cultists have a hideout nearby. In fear of being attacked, the townsfolk rally together and march off to defeat these cultists and have peace of mind, if only for a while. As they walk on through the night, torches in hand, they come upon an old mine shaft, the eye of Iblees carved into the support beams, and blood trailing inside. They cautiously enter, the old mine a dreadfully confusing maze of tunnels, and slowly those at the back of the group disappear. The remainder of the group soon comes to a large pair of heavy wooden doors, and they push them open into a large chamber. A shrine to Iblees sitting dead center, varying bones and chunks of flesh scattering across the room's floor, and then the doors shut behind them. The groups turns to the door, and when they look back at the altar an Undead is floating in the air above. The townsfolk could try their luck at hacking through the door, or try and defeat this minion of Iblees. The odds not favouring them as the bones and flesh are formed into a mob of skeletons and zombies, advancing on the group as the Undead laughs maniacally at them. Should they succeed, they may find some valuable relics, or even clues to the plans of the Undead, upon their foe.
(This would be a dungeon type scenario)

3) For a group of 20+: A rich lord has recently sent out flyers all across Athera, detailing a challenging series of clues that will start with one clue that leads to the second, and so forth, until the first individual/group to find their way to the finish line wins. Along the way they will face challenges such as monsters, mazes, and maybe even a crazy killer. The prize will be a sum of gold, and the sweet taste of victory.

How long do you plan to stay in the ET?: Is forever a choice? There will always be a need for events, and so a need for Event Team members!

Tell me a joke:
A man has just arrived in Hell and is moping around.
The Devil walks up to the man and asks him, "Why are you so depressed?"
The man responds, "Well, I'm in Hell, what do you expect me to be?"
The Devil tells him, "Oh, it's not all that bad," he pauses briefly before asking, "Say, do you like drinking?"
The man replies, "Why of course."
The Devil tells him, "On Mondays, you can drink whatever you want, and you can't get alcohol poisoning 'cause you're already dead."
The man exclaims, "Wow, that sounds great."
The Devil asks, "Do you like eating?"
The man replies, "Definitely."
The Devil tells him, "On Tuesdays, you can eat anything you want and any amount, but you don't get fat or sick 'cause you're already dead."
The man exclaims, "Wow, that's awesome."
The Devil asks, "Do you like smoking?"
The man replies, "Sure do."
The Devil tells him, "On Wednesdays you can smoke anything you want, cigarettes, cigars, joints, and you don't get cancer 'cause you're already dead."
The man exclaims, "This all sounds so wonderful!"
The Devil asks him, "Are you gay?"
The man replies, "No."
And the Devil says, "Oh, you're not gonna like Thursdays."
