An elf, from the far back and shadowy recesses of the mali'aheral refuge steps forwards. The once Sohaer stands, ragged and tired. Kept awake by his dabbling into the arcane and brooding regarding the situation of the elves. He raises a hand to the air to those who might spot him and stand before him, a faint and familiar silver light shimmering in his hand to reveal the emblem of the mali'aheral.

"It was by fool hearted thoughts of kindness and egalitarianism that dissent, that the seeds of chaos, tumult and ultimately exile were sown at our feet. It was these thoughts which allowed the lesser to exile us from the home we invited them in to. It was these thoughts that allowed the filth to betray us for our kindness."

"You, my kin, are lead by another other than by me as you were when we stood at our pinnacle in the past. But this does not mean that we must live in the shadow of the mountains for an eternity. It is for Larihei Lomanii we continue. It is for the maher'sae hiylun'ehya we continue. It is for the memory of Haelun'or of Asulon that we continue."

"iyathante ito Haelun'or!"

"It is time to sulk no longer for sulking is for those who are to remain forever in the shadows. It is time to forget no longer the promised land of Annil'sul. The sanctuary that such a home provided us and the betrayal that stole our sanctuary from us. Let not the filth make us forget our rightful place".

"Lomian'onn mali'aheral. Lomian'onn kaean'ehya chul vanae ito Annil'sul. kaean lin. elacal ne ito narne. Gather, unite and return."

[[Not a high elf in the high elf sanctuary? I guess you can't reply then!]]

Seth frowns deepens a little. "And distract the vermin from Iblees? Surely the trickster is willing to do the better of the realm right now and not some foolish quest to redeem Thurdan's lack of actions or his foolishness." He grunts and walks home.

Asul'athri watches Kalenz walk out into the centre of the refuge. He nods. In some respects, he did not agree with the Naysayer. But in those such as this, he did. The streets of Annil'sul were theirs, and theirs alone... But they simply lacked the forces they'd need to reacquire it. He sighs, and begins to make preparations for a more pressing matter... The so-called "Axe of Krug."

"maher'sae hiylun'ehya..." says Avern'dionne, "The time is nigh we reclaim what is ours. The mali'ame shall pay their dues."

To Avern'dionne, Asul'athri would say, "Be patient. The time will come, but we have other assets right now which are more important. Besides, with the recovery of this particular one, there may be no need for large-scale combat, or great bloodshed... Though, to be fair, there will still be more than our fair share."

Almecki nods in agreement to Kalenz, "All peoples go through times of hardship.. it is time to end ours."

A thin, straight and elegant blade points skyward. A feeble hand wraps around its base, though with a grip as strong as the sun's heat.

"Tanya eth'ehya tilru Haelun'or! Tanya eth'ehya tilru maehr'sae hiylun'ehya!"

The shout echoes like the roar of a lion.

"It is only a matter of time; these years shall become harsher - and the reward at the end greater. Patience has served us well."
