In the mountains above Fiandria, a lone dark elf looks down upon the timeless forest. His cloak whipping in the harsh winter winds as small flakes of snow begin to fall. He sighs softly, his breath visible in the cold air as he tugs a his hood over his ebon hair. Tossing a pack over his shoulder he turns from the forest below and sets out on his journey. His thoughts laying heavily on his people and his family as he trudges through the snow. His departure already known to his advisors, he leaves a letter in his wake to be announced by one of the Div'cruan.

 

 

 

The neophyte clears his throat, getting the attention of any dark elves within the hollow as he begins.

 

"It is with sadness in my heart that I do this. But as ever, I do what I must for our people. As of today I am setting out into the wilderness to begin my meditation in preparation for my training." 

 

The dark iron clad soldier turns his head to a nearby pair as he speaks this next part.

 

 

 

"Arveldir and Mizziyrn, The Hands of Onyx, will oversee the Under City in my stead. While I am fully confident in their abilities, should I be needed, they are free to send for me and I will return as soon as I can. Be as onyx, my kin, and remain strong. I shall return soon."

 

He lowers the parchment, making his way to Mizziyrn and Arveldir to present them the letter. The emblem of Des'Nox stamped into the bottom of the page to prove it validity.

 

 

Oh snizidy snap. What's all this about? Welp I'm moving back home to my little island of Newfoundland but not before stopping into America along the way to visit a good friend. I'll be able to hop on for important things and if I get the time but I'll mostly only be a forum presence. So stay fly people, I'll see you all in about two weeks.
