What’s the rule you agree with the most?:  I agree with the no discrimination or prejudice unless in character rule because equality is very important to me out of character, and to my character particularly.  I also like how it adds "unless in character" because it helps the realism of playing roles in this time period.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?

My friends told me about it, and hope to start a group/family together on the server.

What is role playing?:  In my own words, role playing is the act of pretending to be another person with others.  An example would be playing the role of a fictitious colonist to the Americas.

What is meta-gaming?:  Again in my own words, meta-gaming is using outside information to your character's advantage in role play sessions.  An example would be that the opposing team would do a certain maneuver, and your team would then use that information to counter their maneuver.

What is power-gaming?:  In my own words, power-gaming is forcing another character to do something they don't want to do.  An example would be slavery.

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name:  Kol Crystalson

Character’s gender:  Male

Character’s race:  Wood Elf

Character’s age:  62

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Kol Crystalson was born of the Crystalson Wood Elf family.  His parents taught him the basics of archery and wood cutting before they were on a long voyage to Athera in a magnificent ship, the Clover from Malinor.  A horrible storm caused the ship to capsize on a protruding reef, shipwrecking Kol, age 52, and killing his two parents and younger brother, Nicholas.  After some time of sitting on debris crying,  he was rescued by a human ship and taken to Athera.  The ship's crew that rescued Kol taught him the human language, English.  They had no idea that Kol was a wood elf because he was dressed as a sailor and not in elvish clothing, making him blend in as a human.

  Kol lived in Aegis as a wood cutter for some time, making enough money to survive in a small house.  Over time,  Kol taught himself some craftsmanship in his wood cutting shop, making him a Woodworker and Lumberjack in the professions field.  After lumberjacking for 10 years before realizing the human's discrimination of himself.  They saw him as an outsider, making Kol wanting to run away from his new home the next day.  He was getting ready to go to bed when there was a knock on his door from a member of the House Ceux les Sombres family, asking to leave with him.  They were a small human family seeking the same as him, to rid of discrimination towards themselves and they felt bad for him going alone - thus leading to a great friendship and working together to find a place to settle down away from prejudice.

Personality Traits:  Cautious,  Secretive, Independent, Kind, Protective, Insightful

Ambitions:  To find someone who will accept him for who he is, to seek an escape from discrimination

Strengths/Talents:  Archery (Basic),  Lumberjacking (Advanced),  Woodworking (Mediocre)

Weaknesses/Inabilities:  Fear of large bodies of water,  lack of faith towards deities,  being alone, and feeling regret towards death such as disliking hunting and killing animals, hates meat - almost an inability to eat it
