Seregon Family

 

 

General history

The Family was created in aegis when Ravina and Laiphon Seregon birthed two twins Aldarion and Raelor. Laiphon being a hunter and Ravina a simple tailor they lived in the grand elven city Ravina owning a Tailory shop called The Ravens Coat. Both Raelor and Aldarion having completely different personalities Aldarion being funny Raelor being serious left their home. Aldarion going to Al’Khazar where he lived a large portion of his life even finding a woman named Xyena who he loved. Then the family was tight. The head of the family being Laiphon. Though, after a while and in the midst of the chaos of iblees the people inside the Seregon line begin to develop severe anger issues. This had hit everyone with the blood of the Seregon. Some say that it was cursed upon use by a witch in the lands of Aegis for Laiphon crushing her heart and falling in love with Ravina. Others simply believe it was a defect birthed in the families genetic code. Though after many years and the eventually leaving of Aegis the anger got worse. Some people in the family becoming insane believing themselves to take up the name literally and thinking themselves wolves to run off into the woods. Others simply are able to coax this “Curse” through meditation, seclusion or various other means. Throughout these harsh years of moving to Asulon the family suffered tremendously many of the people in the family either leaving or dying off including Laiphon and Ravina eventually dying from a very high age. During the times of Asulon the family mainly focused on rebuilding the frame of the family they were dwindling in numbers. After the moving of Kalos, Elysium and eventually Anthos the family was at a standstill with the need to progress to more modern times they needed a leader. Many were chosen though none were considerable for it to unite the ununited family. Until eventually Beranabus had shown himself Changing the families name to Whitewolf having served his time in the orenian days the name simply stuck with him for all these years. And with many years of work he had united the family. To a degree. Finding his lost brother Griffin, his many cousins aunts and uncles the family was on its way to becoming whole again. Though now we are in Athera and the family is once again in the need to progress as they once more adopt the name of Seregon

Religion

 

The Seregon family is a family of various strains and cultures. Though the most prominent one is the belief of the Creator, as well as the with the teachings of Aeriel as their main beliefs in life. And being a generally peaceful family, many also revert to the teachings of the aspects as many prominent members having become druids. As well recently many of the family have opted out of religion entirely, it being completely up to the family member, the family doesn't force religion.

 

Professions

From birth, most Seregon members have been taught to hunt, fish, as well as cook. These are the strongest of the families professions though some may choose to become woodworkers, Fletcher or Farmer. Though as they come older it is truly up to them what a promising Seregon wishes to do.

 

Weaponry

From a young age many Seregon children are taught to hunt, so usually they are taught the ways of Archery as their main weapon starting with a short-bow, as they become older moving to composite, and when they hit the age of 50 they learn to wield long bows. As well, members of the family usually are taught how to use a fighting style adopting a more ancient style of combat with an Axe usually a tomahawk in one hand and a short sword in the other.

 

Rituals

The family tends to be a very ritualistic family. When a member turns the age of 50 they perform a ritual using natural herbs and an alchemical recipe that the person coming of age drinks. Whilst smoking through a pipe filled with green and other herbs. While they do this ritual it is used usually to supplement their anger management. As they go on a journey through their minds. Though this is a more ancient ritual used in Aegisian and Asulon eras without more modern uses to supplement anger issues.

Another ritual they perform usually done during wedlock of a female member of the Seregon. Where the father of that woman or any male relative who will take place of the father if he is not available or alive. In Which the men go through 3 tasks to prove themselves of worthy of being the daughters husband. Though not widely practiced any longer..

 

Family Crest

The crest is a tattoo design when the member becomes of age by elven standards (50) they acquire this tattoo somewhere on their body. Normally on their legs, shoulders, or back. But it varies. As well, the family colors are Black, White and blue.

 

 

Bloodline/Traits

The blood of the family is for the most part a high elven family but some members in the family have adopted children that are not high elven of birth or have had children with another race or sub race. But those are but a small portion and not widely known. But stands prominently as an elven family. As Well, through the bloodline the family somehow inherited a mental defect of severe anger issues, p. So in certain situations if a family member is angry enough they will enter a raging mode akin to that of an orcs blood lust and be prone to attack essentially anyone. And is nearly impossible to calm down. Some family members though are prone to this anger quicker than others while it is very rare, it is possible not to inherit the trait. Happening only once. Most Seregon have the common high elven features of white hair and blue eyes.
