Introduction:

And we’re back with another city report! We’ve sustained a fair bit of activity in the city, due to the growing prominence of Leuvaarden’s tavern and the stewards’ efforts. Furthermore, three of our warships have docked in Woldzimir, to aid in an upcoming naval battle.

 

Steward’s Plans:

Lord Steward Cantonus Chivay has begun to draft plans concerning the city’s growth in terms of business and housing. Guildhouses will soon be constructed and residencies not in use will be vacated in order to make room for new citizens. Taxation will be continuing as per usual in three saint’s days (Saturday), which can be paid in full to the Count, Lord Steward, or any regular steward. The Steward’s Council will be holding a meeting soon in order to clarify the responsibilities of each member within the city. Lastly, the Lord Steward is looking to facilitate the growth of businesses into and within the city.

 

Tavern:

The Grand Master’s tavern, located in the center of Leuvaarden, has seen a recent surge in activity due to the efforts of its proprietor, Ser Rickard of Brevis. Home to a broad selection of Savoyard wine and other fine vintage from the reaches of Athera, the tavern also offers gambling and card games, and is seeking barmaids.

 

Fish Mongery:

A fishmongery has been opened upon the main road of the Leuvaarden and is looking for an owner. Anyone who seeks to purchase it may speak with the Count or the Lord Steward, who in turn will organize a price. Taxes for the building will be appropriated by the Lord Steward.

 

Fleet Movement:

To demonstrate their combined force as an allied military presence, the flagships of House de Bar and the Order of Saint Amyas have raised their sails and voyaged to Woldzimir to aid their Vladov allies in the upcoming warclaim against the Dwarven armada. Surely the superior Orenian fleet will decimate our enemy’s navy. With God’s Favor!
