Passing of the Mountain Crown

This land is but a purgatory for us mortals’ worldly sins. In time, all pious men must pass to the glories of our Creator. It is in this manner that the Baron Stanimir Vladov of the mountain-hold of Woldzmir passed into the Seven Skies. We loyal men of his ilk mourn this loss most dearly, but know it marks a great victory for the late Vladovic’s soul.

It would not do his memory well to mourn in idleness, for the men of the House of Vladov are always toilsome, driven, and diligent of their holdings. It is for this noble cause, the continuance of our late kin’s dream for his family, that we enact his will as executors of its contents, and officiate the passing of the Barony of Woldzmir from the late Baron Stanimir Vladov to his nephew Count Franz Vladov, who already holds the liege-state of the County of Adria.

It is further declared that a life-sized statue of a black bear is to be erected as a memorial for the late lord, Stanimir Vladov, who will be forever remembered for his contributions to his family, his land, and the east of Oren.

Franz Vladov dips his head towards the tomb of Stanimir, a tear flowing down his cheek to fall to the ground and bounce off the stone.

Margaery Stafyr would lay an embroidered banner of House Vladov near the tomb.

Victor de Montfort kneels down aside Stanimir's grave, leaving a single petaled flower sitting next to it.

"May you rest well, old friend."

It is a shame Stanimir faded so soon, but never the less, Stafyr will see Vladov useful before the end. Nor will we see them fail in any attempts to stay stable and true.
