Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family:

 Born in the town of Karovia on the 2nd of Malin’s Welcome 1478, Laelius’ early life was often subject to constant war - even if it wasn’t within his home city. His father, Cristoforo Aedalfieri, served as a member of the Crow’s Regiment and was often away, especially during the Renatus war during Laelius’ childhood.

 

 While on the other hand, his mother Selina, gave him what limited knowledge she had on reading and instilled several traditional family values in him. These values included a vigorous aversion to several types of magic (especially conjuration and evocation) and dedication to the Creator.

 

 As the Holy Oren Empire broke up due to an edict created by Alexander Carrion, Laelius’ parents moved to the town of Aldersberg as more opportunity presented itself there. By the time he reached the age of ten, his Father had encouraged - more so forced - Laelius to take on a trade.

 

 Thusly Laelius took on a more scholarly path than his father (much to his dismay,) learning to read to a further extent within the Aldersberg Library. The Holy Scrolls, along with stories of the Order of the White Rose and other military orders were common, and they interested Laelius greatly. Not even the Schism War would divert him from his path - though he became much more suspicious of foreigners

 

 1491 turned to 1492;1492 to 1493 and so forth. By the time of Laelius’ sixteenth birthday, he visited his Uncle, Allaedo Aedalfieri in Montfort (located in the March of Adria) at least once. The Raevir culture now seemed so foreign to him - even his accent had changed from he lived in Karovia. His false Raevir background had now dissipated.

 

 Fast forward to the year 1496, Laelius had moved from the now ruins of Aldersberg. He set Leuvaarden in his sights, and prepared to forge his own life.

 

What are they like (personality)?: Laelius is a determined worker and willing to partake in any cause if need be. He is initially suspicious of all foreigners, due to his early life being plagued with conflicts with various factions and nations. He speaks in a very refined and scholarly manner, however on occasion, small pieces of the Raevir or Illatian accent may slip through his speech.

 

 He is also instilled with several values of the Aedalfieri family, such as aversion to most types of magic due to the belief that it originates from the void (Hell.) If need be, he is willing to be very vocal to get his point across. He also holds a strong sense of family and holds his relatives close. As with all Humans - but very prominent within his family - Laelius also reveres the Creator as much as possible and outright refuses to use his name in vain.

 

What are their ambitions?: Laelius is determined to lead a life serving the Creator. In his current location, Leuvaarden, this leaves him with two options: joining the Order of Saint Amyas or the clergy of the Church of the Canon. Another ambition of his is someday raise a family of his own.

 

Do they have any special skills?: Laelius is a proficient reader which is something peculiar for his background. He is capable of doing hard labor, such as lumberjacking. He believes he is particularly apt making a ballad if need be, though it be wise to say he isn't very good at it.

 

What are their weaknesses?: Laelius is much less capable of doing more precise work aside from writing. He can swing a sword, but his combat skill is rather lacking, which most likely means he’ll have a hard time in combat.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: Laelius is a 5’9 Illatian with dark brown hair and olive green eyes. His face, and its expressions are similar to his uncle, Allaedo. While he does possess some muscle, it is not very much when compared to those who continually labour.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: Laelius often carries a small katzbalger (a 50cm long dagger) with him, though its quality is rather crude and it almost seems poorly made.
