When the last rays of the day melted past the green, purple turning into grey under dusk, a lone house wheezing and sighing with the expansion and deformation of wood under changing weather, moss would gather at its edges climbing the wood and turning it to rot.

And in there an old man with eyes tightly shut and blankets pulled around him, he lay breathing long and haggard breaths for this was Heinrich, Shatter Mask, in the days of his youth and further still Tolfdear, there’d be no recognition, no last battle, only an old man finally slipping into the long sleep, just a combination of weather and age, for all would in time forget or even notice the passing of a remnant so far flung out of time.

Twas a cold that be his end.
