CoCoserial 21 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Minecraft name: Tristan Northbroek Skype ID: coolio.tristan Timezone: UTC-4:00 Have you had any bans or strikes? If yes give a link: I have had a ban report, but it was not my fault what so ever. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/124158-player-report-on-diviirchan-cocoseriel-and-notoriousgn0me/ Why do you want to be a builder for the ET? I feel that i can be of use to the ET team with the talent i have with building and creating structures to help with RP and other scenarios. What are some of your most treasured builds? (screenshots if possible): Sadly i do not screen shot them, but i have recently made the one below. What MMORPG/video games do you play? I play DDO (Dungeons and dragons), Skyrim (If thats considered MMO), WOW (World of War craft), and ESO (Elder scrolls online). Please provide screenshots of any medieval builds strictly you have built and a description of each: This one is a more recent house i have built, you can tell by the shape of the house it is more of a 16th century house with its more straight edges and the form it was built in. (I don't know what you mean by link so i just get them from my photo stream, and make them bigger photos). Please provide an example of a decent sized ruin build (stone or otherwise): Please provide an example of terraforming: Please provide an example of a organic build: An organic build is when you make the structure more of a rounder shape without any harsh corners, and edgy ridges. Please provide an example of a High fantasy build: A high fantasy build is predominately built with high standing structures and more "Magical" looking objects such as glass pains that are painted, floating objects that resemble a light source, or is obviously not built in real life because of physics in the real world would actually apply to the building. Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build? I consider myself a independent builder. This is why because not everyone has the same ideas as i do, and may not understand them. But it needed, i can work with others. Do you know much about redstone? I know the basics such as closing doors, making a fridge, and a cannon, ext. How long does it take for you to complete a build? Depends on the structure, but on average maybe 30 minutes to one hour. Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build. When building large builds you need to make it more thick and wide, this is why because a large build when really skinny makes it look as if you did not take your time, or you just don't know what your doing. Not only should you make it larger, you need to add more decoration and detail. When you don't make an object that is big with no detail, it makes it look like a plain figure that has no importance. With a Medium build, you will have to make it with more shape, curve, and detail because the object/building will have to look as if it was an actual building that was planned, not hurried. Even with a medium sized structure, you have to concentrate with detail, such as some parts of the building are bigger than the other. With making a small build, you don't have to concentrate on much detail because of the small area it will be taking up, which all of the building will be seen. Small builds should be built with wood if anything, its an realistic server, so you don't make it out of stone, what small structure would need stone to hold it up. Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...): I have some idea of World Edit, i have built objects for certain servers before. Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads) When building, use less stone objects with furniture, it makes it look depressed (Unless thats what your going for). Another trick it to make torch holders with simply a stair part, a trap door, and a torch, this makes it look as if it were a lamp shade. Tell me what you want from the ET. I hope being a ET will help with my building skills and not only building i want to achieve, i want to make people to enjoy RP with my buildings/structures. Anderssn 1115 Share Posted March 29, 2015 You need to upload your pictures on the web, use imgur for example. http://imgur.com/ And put the pictures on right places on the application. On Imgur, click the blue "Upload Images" Then either drag the pictures from your folder, or click "Browse your computer" and find the right picture. Then upload the picture. Once done you'll see your picture(s) and on the right side you'll see this bar: From there copy the BBCode (message boards & forums) Link and simply paste it on your post.
