IT IS TIME TO MAKE SOME VIDEOS!

 

What's this?! Videos?! Giga you must be mad! The LoTC YouTube Channel hasn't been used for months! Is this some form of Druid conspiracy?!

 

No.

 

It is about time the LoTC YouTube channel was put back into use, but not rushed or in a haphazard manner. We have talents, and we will exploit them and use them carefully, and to the best of our ability to produce some high-end quality content.

 

What am I proposing? Player group showcases. that's what!

 

That's right; we will be collectively collaborating as a team to produce some videos that will showcase lore and information on various player groups about Athera. And when I say "collectively collaborating", I mean all of us!

 

Videographers will record some epic, enticing shots of the locations of these groups.

 

Photographers will collaborate with graphics artists to produce some quality thumbnails.

 

Script-writers will put their pens to the paper and write some jolly, simple and informative scripts that will keep the audience entertained whilst filling their heads with knowledge!

 

Voice actors will down a bottle of Mountain Dew (Or their other favorite beverage) and pour their voiceboxes into a microphone to push the scriptwriters' scripts into the ears of the viewers!

 

And everyone else will lend a hand where need be!

 

The first video will be a revised spotlight on the Druids. (Yes call me biased and a Druid GM Conspiracy). I'll need scriptwriters to contact me so we can start getting things together. We can then base everything else around the script.

 

The first video will be more of an experiment. We can see what works and what doesn't, and then learn from our mistakes and successes to perfect future videos.

 

It won't be a walkthrough with interviews as such, as these have never "flowed" well in the past. They aren't smooth and aren't always informative in a clear and concise manner. These videos will be organised and planned extensively.

I feel like this is a good project to get kicking, and wouldn't be too hard to get started up. We could make up-to-date ones for each races/groups on the server. Releasing them all at once would also be a good idea, I think. I know Dizzy did one for the dwarves that was pretty good, but is out of date.

This project, should it be kept, will be revised and changed slightly. Druids won't come first, the races should.
