A CLARIFICATION  UPON DUCAL LAW;

 

In light of the recent events in the Duchy of Vanaheim, concerning the treasonous acts committed in the Barony of Praedium, it is imperative the Dukes of the realm ensure the laws they are permitted to enforce disallow any and all acts of treasonous nature.

 

• As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and stability of the crown and its vassals, Ducal laws must include the disallowance of the horrid crime of treason.

• They must enforce capital punishment upon those who commit it.

• Treasons many forms must be elaborated upon.

• No citizens of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren are afforded leniency upon being indicted as guilty of treason.

 

For means of clarification, it also made official that;

 

• Orenian citizens of the noble class may not be tried at the hands of fellow nobility.

• Orenian citizens of the noble class are entitled to a trial at the hands of the Justiciar, or the King, in His Majesties court.
