Star Citizen Organization/interest

I'm insanely confused about Star Citizen, I feel like they're beating around the bush about what the game is actually going to be.

 

So is this open world sandbox or no? 

 

Yeah, a bit like EVE online except you're not juste a ship that you can point and click. You could be part of a Security Org that was hired by legal merchants to hit a base full of player pirates and use a gunship to drop into their base and fight it out FPS style, or you could nab some bombers and nuke their base. Or you could be a stock-broker like in EVE and just stick around a trade node and look at graphs all day. Or whatever really.

 

Apparently they're funding research to generate entire planets so you could land anywhere you want. Dunno if thats anymore than talk tho. Still primarily focused on space.

Can subscribers join the org too? I wanted in on all of the cool concepts and subscriber-only stuff, and I wanted to see more development on the ships before buying one.

I'll probably have an avenger and do bounty hunting stuff; though I suppose I could make exceptions for some of the shadier members of Antitrust Intergalactic. Maybe even set up a posse, if other people are interested.

to be honest I have no idea if you can join since you are only a subscriber, just go ahead and try. Otherwise, you can still jump in.

You see the trick is to take the other person out of the sentence "Me already planning". I think not. Also you need to include the other person first.

 

I'll be getting a decent pc soon to practice the dogfighting, probably getting an Alpha-mustang because of the low price(I may scrap some money up for a gladius or Hornet). FPS module is coming out soon and I tend to be pretty baws at fps, I'll be on that mostly. For the persistant universe I'll be putting most of my effort on being good on the ground, better combat suits&guns, rather than great ships.
