Star Citizen Organization/interest

PREFACE: I don’t think this is advertising, however if a Forum Mod or GM believes it to be such do not hesitate to remove the post!

As many who might be interested in PC gaming are aware, Star Citizen promises to be a highly immersive space simulator and one of the most anticipated games of 2015(16?). As of right now you can pledge money to the game in order to purchase ships and participate in the flight modules that are playable.

I encourage some open discussion about the game on this thread even if you're not interested! I'd like to know who I'll be seeing on my adventures in the PU when it (eventually) releases.

Why does this matter?
A few of us on LoTC have recently gotten together and formed an Organization (essentially a guild) on Star Citizen called Antitrust Intergalactic and we’re recruiting. I would like to reach out to members of the LoTC community who have already gotten involved in Star Citizen or are interested in it to join our group.

Our main focuses are trade and exploration, but armed security services will be required if you wish to go in that sort of direction.

We offer an opportunity to play in an unfamiliar gaming setting that can appear intimidating at first with some familiar faces from the LoTC community to make the experience more enjoyable for everybody involved. A.I. will of course recruit from the Star Citizen community as well, though I’d like to open up recruiting to LoTC community members as well.

Once and done. If you pledge for a ship right now you'll get the single player Squadron 42 which will carry over into the MMO Star Citizen. Packages for ships and whatnot range from $35.00 as far up as something like $15,000.00! The $35.00 will get you a starter ship and the base game though.

You see the trick is to take the other person out of the sentence "Me already planning". I think not. Also you need to include the other person first.

 

I'll be getting a decent pc soon to practice the dogfighting, probably getting an Alpha-mustang because of the low price(I may scrap some money up for a gladius or Hornet). FPS module is coming out soon and I tend to be pretty baws at fps, I'll be on that mostly. For the persistant universe I'll be putting most of my effort on being good on the ground, better combat suits&guns, rather than great ships.

Also people will be able to play the full release for like free, they just won't have a ship fairing license until they pay $40. If people want to be marines and play the game they are welcome too.

You can't apply to the organization until you actually buy, but I can add you guys to the skye chat. Shoot me a PM then with your info. We can always use a few fighters to keep our ships safe when they're trying to get their goods across space.

I'm insanely confused about Star Citizen, I feel like they're beating around the bush about what the game is actually going to be.

 

So is this open world sandbox or no?
