Before the release of the previous map, we were planning to release this same group. However, the map release date was postponed several times over a few months. The hype died and most of our members lost the drive to start up this group. With the arrival of 4.5, we’ve decided to return to give it another shot.

 

 

The Blackfists are a gathering of many different looking dwarves, which comes from their bastard heritage. They are a relatively new clan to the Isles of Vailor, and was founded by Magnus Blackfist. The clan holds a reputation of diversity, in everything from their looks to their profession. The clan are the founders and rulers of Kal’Krest, with Magnus Blackfist as the Clan father and Lord of the city. The combination of many professions and expert miners have made them a rich clan, and only the future will see how they fare on the tides of time.

 

 

The origins of the Blackfist Clan dates back to the halls of Kal’Urguan, just before the fall of the great city during the great war of Aegis. Karl ‘Orcbane’ Frostbeard had a drunken night, impregnating a lass who hailed from a non-noble clan known as The Blackfist Clan. The lass gave birth to Magnus Blackfist on the voyage to Asulon, the bastard brother of Gorum, Moruk,  and Goruk Frostbeard. Instead of joining his Frostbeard kin, Magnus decided to head down his own path as he strived to push The Blackfist Clan beyond ‘commoner’ status. Many years had passed and Magnus was relatively distant from the Dwarven Nation. It was when he heard that his brothers had given birth to bastards that he had decided to return and embrace them into his clan. Murog and Korek, the bastard sons of Gorum, and Thrive, the bastard son of Goruk. After embracing his nephews in the isles of Vailor he went out of his way to locate Dwarves who carry the blood of Blackfists. After discovering a handful of them he managed to embrace his long lost kin and settle down with them. Shortly after Magnus and the Blackfists founded the city of Kal’Krest.

 

 

Clan Holds & Halls

 

 

Kal’Krest was founded in a mountain close to the dwarven capital Kal’Akash, it is the seat of the Blackfists and home to the Blackfist Company. It is said the place was chosen when the miners of the Blackfist Company found a great emerald crystal within the mountain, and it was therefor given the name Kal’Krest, City of the Crystal.
