Once A Warrior Now A Joke

Cole would bring out a rather large book filled with nothing more than the blank words of a dead man walking from within his coat. The book would be soaked multiple times with water, punctured and torn in multiple places that show its age. He would sit at a desk in an undisclosed location with only a small candle on top of a desk; Its already half melted. He sets the book upon the desk as he opens the first page into the book. He stares blankly at the page as he eyes the quill and ink that just so happened to have been placed there prior to him sitting down at the desk. He grabs a hold of the quill as he begins to write furiously into the book.

"I cannot remember the last time I ate an apple from one of the apple tree's that were scattered across the lands of Aegis or even the last time I truly had fun with what little friends I have, if any are still alive. It appears all my friends have died. Perhaps I should do the same? I think day and night about joining them but cannot help but continue to make a name for myself. I feel as if my life is yet to be ended because I am destined to continue doing great things."

The first paragraph ends with a large smudge of ink at the end of the last line. He continues to write...

"Aegis was such a wonderful place. I remember very little from my childhood other than the Cuthalion estate that took me in. They were a group of fisherman and miners. They lived close to the Cloud Temple and as a result were victims to raiding almost on a daily basis but that did not stop their drive to succeed. As I grew older I began to learn their techniques and their way of life. Learning how to mine like the Dwarfs that were located less than an Elven minute walk from our home. I learned to fish like the many fisherman that lived on the coastline. But most importantly I learned how to fend off the multiple bandits of the land. The Undead were some unruly bastards. Their intentions were always to seek and destroy rather than talk first. They were all about the power of the mighty sword and hammer rather than the voice and quill."

The page ends within the small book as Cole turns the page to start a new paragraph.

( I will be adding to this constantly about my characters life events since I joined the server. I wish for my character's achievements to be documented somewhere before his death and I figured I better start sooner rather than later. )
