"What.. what's going on?"

"Welcome back."

"W-Who are you? Where am I? Why can't I move?"

"Silence child, there is plenty of time for questions."

"Then start answering them! Why can't I move!"

"You don't remember? Most would remember a fight with our Master."

"Master? I don't have a Master!"

"That's right, you don't. I do, however."

"Who are you?! Let me out of here wherever we are!"

"But child, you are in your own body, your own mind."

"What do you mean?"

"Look within. Use your eyes. I will grant you that much freedom."

"I..I see blood.. trees.. a corpse.. what's happened?"

"We killed him child."

"What?! I would never kill an innocent man! I'm just a blacksmith!"

"I know. But I on the other hand, would."

"But why can I see the body if I didn't do it?!"

"As I said child, this IS your body."

"But I can't do anything but see!"

"Exactly. You are no longer in control."

"Then who is!"

"I am."

"Who are you?!"

"I am hunger."

"Hunger?"

"The hunger that always resided within you. I waited, silently for my moment to take charge."

"But that doesn't make any sense.."

"The Necromancer was very kind to set me free. Your death was the first step."

"I'm not dead though.. I'm here.."

"Ah, but you are. Trapped in your own mind. A side effect of releasing me."

"So I'm.. I'm stuck.. here.. watching forever?"

"Yes, that's correct."

"I.. I just want to die.. I don't want to live like this.."

"But child, Master has need of us. He feeds us in exchange for our service. Now come, let us feast."

"No.. please.."

Within the dark forests around the cities of Felsen, a tree would have fallen, the trunk seemingly split in two by a heavy impact. A pool of blood would lie nearby, though no corpse can be found. Two sets of footsteps would be present, the first of a human, leading to the crushed tree, then disappearing until the pool of blood, where the same print would be printed in blood along the grass for a ways, before stopping entirely. The footprints of an Olog would follow the human prints, to the tree then the pool of blood. They would continue where the humans left off, painting a morbid scene. A horrible stench fills the area, the stench of rot and decay.

Within the forests around Laureh'lin, an observant elf could find a tree, soaked in fresh blood. The tree would have a single, piercing stab through it's trunk, full of blood. The grass around the area would be covered in blood as well. If they were to follow the footprints, they would find many stab marks in the ground along the way. An elves footprints run through the forest, stab marks and the occasional human handprint or footprint following. The same stench as the area near Felsen would be present, rot and dead flesh marking the scene as another victim of the same sort of killer.

((This is an RP post to do two things. One, note that I'll be bringing some RP to both Felsen and Laureh'lin when I can, and secondly to remind people that not all ghouls are just mindless corpses. New improved ghouls are being made all the time, including Ologs with large ball and chains, and spry human ghouls with blades replacing an arm. Not to mention the new PvP buffs added to them. If you'd like to play a ghoul, apply here and I'll check you out.

Other than that, Happy RPing, and watch out for Necromancers!))

Clavicous Epidemical hunches over the operating table. He studies a dead ghoul that he recently found. "Interesting..." He mutters.

He sniffs the air before gagging. "Disgusting beast..."
