What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is basically acting out the thoughts of a character and responding to the world as they would.

What is metagaming?: Using Out-Of-Character information while in-character. (Like reading nameplates to know someone is behind a wall.)

What is powergaming?: Doing something your character couldn't normally do, like punching through a brick wall, or forcing actions on other players, such as instantly killing someone.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Tarax Grimhammer

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Dwarf

Character’s age: 133

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Tarax was born to two mountain dwarves who lived alone in a logging homestead. While he was growing up, his parents were killed by the cult of Setherien while he was gathering firewood in the forest. When he returned, he found that his home was burned to the ground and his parents were gone. Upon seeing this, he vowed to return to the dwarven capital and become a soldier. When he arrived in Kal'Ithrun, the City of Storms, the legion wouldn't accept him as he was still a beardling. Depressed, he became a smith's apprentice for many years until he was older.

 

Now a resident of Kal"Akash, he has become a skilled smith and is ready to join the Dwarven legion. He has done what he can to support the legion as a smith since his apprenticeship, and wishes to participate in the smithing guild as well. After surviving the undead attacks and the journey to Vailor, he believes he has gathered enough experience in the world and is ready to become a soldier in service to the dwarven kingdom. While he respects the new king, he is worried by the rebellion that has stirred due to the recent elections.

 

Personality Traits: He is brave, and strong-willed. This leads to him being aggressive to most people.

Ambitions: He wishes to become a soldier in the legion.

Strengths/Talents: He is a skilled smith and soldier.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He has trouble reading and tends to be aggressive towards others.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He is 4' 3" tall, but broad and muscular due to his time working the forge. He has red hair and dark eyes. He usually is shirtless and wears striped pants. He has several blue tattoos and styles his hair into a tall mohawk.
